Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The biggest tragedy in life is to be oblivious (unaware, unmindful, insensible) as to how much GOD loves you.

SEARCHING FOR GOD
"Seek first the KINGDOM OF GOD and HIS righteousness." [Matthew 6. 33]

Riches, power, health, adventure, fame, peace, conquests, or even an escape are some of the things people are searching for these days. When or if they are found, these things still never satisfy, things never will! To our shame, it is only a few CHRIST-like-ones who realize that permanent fulfillment or redirection of such desires can be found only in the LORD GOD OF HEAVEN. . . the ONE WHO created them and designed them to function in a particular, satisfying way.

While it is true, prudently speaking, that "there is none who understands, there is none who seeks after GOD" [Romans 3. 11] for there is no salvation outside of the encouraging incentive of the HOLY SPIRIT OF GRACE. Everyone is commanded to seek the TRUE GOD, however, and HE never asked us to do the impossible.

As encouragement, the ALMIGHTY ONE tells us — "If you search for the LORD your GOD, you will find HIM, if only you seek HIM with all your heart and soul." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 4. 29 Tanakh, Torah] "If you seek HIM, HE will find you, but if you forsake HIM, HE will abandon you forever." [1 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Alef) 28. 9 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "One thing I ask of the LORD, only that do I seek, to live in the House of the LORD all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD, and frequently inquire in HIS Temple." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "ELOHIYM, YOU are my GOD; I search for YOU, my soul thirsts for YOU, my body yearns for YOU." [Psalms (Tehillym) 63. 1 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The wisdom of the ALMIGHTY ONE says — "Those who love ME, I love; and those who seek ME will find ME." [Proverbs (Tehillym) 8. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "You will search for ME and find ME, if only you seek ME wholeheartedly (sincerely, genuinely, honestly)." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 29. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Finding the SOVEREIGN ONE'S perfect will should be our priority and the longing desire of our life. Then, we will be completely fulfilled as we search for the attributes, characteristics and nature of our OMNIPOTENT CREATOR and make HIS way, ours. The LORD JESUS promises that we will find HIM, if we truly seek HIM. The most PRECIOUS TREASURE in this life is found when we find our wonderful MASTER, YESHUA, the LIVING HOPE. . . then HE gives us so much more.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Observing Tzom Gedaliah (Fast of Gedaliah [at dawn] — governor of Judea) in commemoration of the end of Jewish rule in the Holy Land at the time of the first destruction of the First Holy Temple some 2,500 years ago. The events are described in the HOLY BIBLE. [see 2 Kings/Melakhim Bet 25.25–26; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 40 – 41] The Fast Day was establish and called the "Fast of the Seventh." (see Zechariah 8.19 —Tishri is the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar.) Gedaliah was probably killed on Rosh ha'Shana, but the fast was pushed off due to the holiday.
The TALMUDIC TRACTATE ROSH ha'SHANA equates Gedaliah's murder with the destruction of the Holy Temple , citing the fact that fasts were instituted to commemorate both events.
HEAVENLY FATHER, teach us to emulate YOUR OWN grace and mercy. Cause YOUR TRUTH to fall upon our hearts like seed upon fertile ground. And, may we learn to love YOUR Law ever more deeply and to find in it the beauty of holiness. Remind us that YOU are the CENTER of our joy; thank YOU again for YOUR great love and kindness to us. Amen!
Days of Awe. Day 33 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

 A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Many a man who does not fear GOD wraps himself in a Prayer Shawl. [-Abraham ibn Esra]

TRADITION OR TRUTH
"This shall be to you a Law forever for all time: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, Tishri, you shall practice self-denial; and you shall do no manner of work, neither the citizen nor the alien who resides among you. For on this day atonement shall be made for you to cleanse you of all your sins; you shall be clean before the LORD." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 16. 29 - 30 Tanakh, Torah]

The "Days of Awe (Yamim Nora’im)" refers to the ten days between Yom Teruah (Day of Trumpets/Rosh ha’Shanah) and Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) which can alter the sentence of one’s fate if a person repents of his sin, makes restitution, and returns to the GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Thus, the goal of Yamim Nora’im is to return (teshuvah) to the BLESSED ONE with their whole heart, soul and might. This results in DIVINE forgiveness and at-one-ment with GOD which is only possible through MESSIAH'S forgiveness, extended to all those who embrace HIS "once-for-all" sacrifice for our sin.

Among the many preparations for the awesome day of Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and perhaps one of the most important, is the seeking of forgiveness from friends, relatives and acquaintances — for actual wrongs done or to soothe bad feelings that may have arisen during the year. This is one aspect of our behavior that cannot be forgiven by the Almighty unless forgiveness is first sought from those we have wronged. Another custom practiced on the eve of Yom Kippur is to bathe (mikvah) so we become pure in preparation for services and prayer.

"I have forgiven" are the eternal words spoken by the FAITHFUL, TRUE & LIVING GOD on the tenth of the month of Tishri, after Moses prayed and fasted for forty days on behalf of the Jewish people. This day became Yom ha'Kippurim, the Day of Atonement, for all generations. Any time a Jew (or Gentile) sincerely repents, he is forgiven. But, this day has a special meaning because of the forgiveness granted to the Jews on this day.

Yom Kippur and all the laws pertaining to it started before sunset, as do all the holidays, with candle-lighting by the women of the house. A 24-hour (yahrzeit) candle is also lit in the house in honor of the holiday, as it is a day of fasting and we cannot honor it with a special festive meal. The light also reminds us of the Second Tablets that were given to the Jewish people on this day, for light symbolizes the TORAH.

On Yom Kippur, no work (melachos) may be done and it is referred to as Shabbos Shabbason — a total rest day just like Sabbath. In fact, the doubled wording teaches us that even if Yom Kippur comes out on Sabbath, the laws of Yom Kippur are observed on that day and are not postponed, unlike other fast days when they occur on Shabbos.

On Yom Kippur, five activities are specifically prohibited: Eating and drinking, anointing oneself with perfumes or oils, and washing (for pleasure), wearing leather shoes, and marital relations. Men go to the Synagogue (Shul) wearing white garments called kittels — and women often dress in light colors or white, which symbolizes purity.

The evening service begins with the chanting of Kol Nidrei (all vows) which is intended to nullify in advance all vows and promises which Jews have been forced to make, or have made hastily in emergencies of sorrow or passion. During each main prayer, we say the "Viduy (confession - "we have sinned!")" — beating the heart with the right hand at each phrase as we enumerate all the sins we may have committed and ask GOD OF HOSTS, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL for forgiveness. The Viduy is phrased in the plural ("we have sinned!"), for all Jews and Gentiles are considered — one body — and we are all responsible for one another.

One of the unique prayers of Yom Kippur is the Avodah section in the Musaf Prayer, which describes in detail the great and awesome service performed on Yom Kippur by the Priests in the Holy Temple . This service was highlighted by the entry of the High Priest into the Holy of Holies, the place where the original tablets of the Ten Commandments were kept in the Ark of the Covenant. Only on this one day a year, and only after much preparation, was the High Priest alone allowed to enter. Described are his preparations, the service, and the exciting conclusion — when the Jewish people knew they were granted forgiveness. [Leviticus/Vayikra 16]

In these present times, Jews everywhere feel that by fasting and repenting for twenty-four hours in obedience to GOD'S righteous commandment, they are forgiven of all their iniquities and their names are written in the BOOK OF LIFE. Although they no longer have a Temple , nor a high priest, and no sacrifice, they are so convinced of the need of an atonement, that rather than confess that they have absolutely none, they teach that repentance and the day itself will atone for all sin. [Hilchoth T'shuvah c.i 2.] But, the LORD GOD stressed, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have assigned it to you for making AN ATONEMENT for your lives upon the altar; it is the BLOOD, as life, that makes expiation for the soul." [Leviticus/Vayikra 17. 11 Tanakh, Torah] For this reason, blood must be shed.

As believers in the LORD YESHUA, we know that we have a GREATER HIGH PRIEST and HIS precious blood has been shed for sinners. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is our KIPPUR (Covering, Atonement). HE is the only means of salvation for both Jew or Gentile and forgiveness is an eternal gift. "Seeing then that we have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST who has passed through the heavens, JESUS, the SON OF GOD, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a HIGH PRIEST WHO cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the Throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need." [Hebrews 4. 14 - 16] "For such a HIGH PRIEST was fitting for us, WHO is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and has become higher than the heavens; WHO does not need daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifices, first for HIS OWN sins and then for the people's, for this HE did once for all when HE offered up HIMSELF." [Hebrews 7. 26 - 27] HalleluYAH! Our GREATER HIGH PRIEST, JESUS, has done it all . . . the price is paid in full; and we, who believe, are bought back by HIS perfect atonement.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we celebrate Yamym Noraym (High Holy Days) — May GOD give us the kindness to hear with compassion, to offer support, loving comfort, and care. May HE give us the courage to do what is needed, the wisdom to choose what is right and most fair...give us the vision to see what is possible; the faith that will help pave the way for a present that is hopeful, a future that is peaceful — give us the heart to bring joy to each day. May Rosh ha’Shana mark a new beginning for you. . . through a year blessed with goodness and promise through MESSIAH YESHUA, the KING of Glory. Amen!
Shana Tova! May you have a year filled with meaning and purpose. . . happiness will surely follow.
Days of Awe / Day 34 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"Rejoice with Jerusalem and be glad for her, all you who love her! Join in her jubilation, all you who mourned over her—that you may suck from her breast consolation to the full, that you may draw from her bosom glory to your delight." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 66. 10 – 11 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

ROSH HA’SHANA PRAYER
Our prayer for you and your family on this Feast Day of Yom Teruah/Rosh ha’Shanah is that ALMIGHTY GOD, blessed be HE and blessed be HIS NAME, will make the coming days of this year, 5776, happy ones...
...Not by shielding us from all sorrow and pain, but by strengthening us to bear it if or when it comes.
...Not by making our path easy, but in making us strong enough to tread any path. Not by granting unbroken sunshine, but by keeping our face bright even in the shadows.
...Not by making our life always pleasant, but in showing us where MESSIAH and HIS cause needs us most; and by making us zealous to do HIS perfect will.
...Not by keeping us from conflict and war, but by bringing us off every field of battle more than conquerors through the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH WHO loves us most.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
The Rosh ha’Shana prayers—longer, more melodious, and more intense and inspirational than usual — concentrate on GOD'S KINGSHIP and HIS judgment of all creatures.
"Our PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER, we have no king but YOU. Help us for YOUR NAME’S sake. Grant us a blessed New Year, annul all evil decrees against us, annul the plots of our enemies, frustrate the designs of our foes, rid us of tyrants, rid us of pestilence, sword, famine, captivity, sin and destruction. Forgive and pardon all our sins. Help us return to YOU fully repentant. Send complete healing to the sick; remember us with favor; hasten our deliverance. Exalt YOUR people, Israel and those who are called by YOUR NAME everywhere. Hear us our INCREDIBLE REDEEMER, show us mercy and compassion, accept our prayer with favor and mercy. Do not turn us away unanswered. Remember that we are dust. Have pity for us and our children; act for those slain for YOUR HOLY NAME who were slaughtered for YOUR unity — who went through fire and water; act for YOUR sake if not for ours. Answer us though we have no deeds to plead our cause. Save us with mercy and loving-kindness. And, make us careful to bless, praise and thank YOU all the days of our life. Amen!"
Chag Semayah — Good Holy Days!
Days of Awe - Day 32 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Tue 15 Sep 2015 - 21:42

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The person of faith believes GOD even when circumstances appear to the contrary.

YOM TERUAH
The purpose of Rosh ha’Shanah can be understood through the main themes of the central Mussaf prayer offered. The prayer is organized in three sections:

1. Malchiot (KINGSHIP) — We begin the special silent prayer of Rosh ha’Shana by declaring GOD our KING. Our prayers declare GOD’S ONENESS, and the path in life we would like to lead.

2. Zichronot (Remembrances) — Unlike humans who forget and remember, it is inconceivable that such a concept exists in our SUPERLATIVELY, HONORABLE, EXCELLENT, ALL-POWERFUL GOD. Zichronot refers to GOD’S ability to identify and consider all factors and aspects of a decision. The ALMIGHTY ONE is aware of our mission in life, our motivations, our thoughts, and our desires. Each and every one of these facets is considered when we are judged.

3. Shofarot (The Shofar) — Shofarot refers to horn, the Shofar, blown on Rosh ha’Shanah. The Shofar symbolizes a new beginning. It is for this reason that it was present at Mount Sinai as the Jewish Nation was forged, and it is for this reason that we sound it on Rosh ha’Shana when we desire to start anew.
Why do we desire a new beginning? Have we given our best effort to self improvement, to our relationships with our fellow man and with GOD? The answer to the question likely gives one pause. We therefore ask God for a new beginning. Then we blow the Shofar.

Yom Teruah (The Day of the Horn/Trumpets) — literally shouting...begins with blessings after the Shofar is sounded. "Baruch atah Yahweh Eloheinu melech ha-olam, asher kidishanu bemitzvotav vetzvivanu leshemoa kol Shofar." [Blessed are YOU, YEHOWAH, our GOD, KING of the universe, WHO has sanctified us with your commandments and has instructed us to hear the Shofar.] "Baruch ata YAHWEH ELOHEINU MELECH ha-olam, asher kidishanu bemitzvotav vetzivanu lazman hazeh." [Blessed are YOU, YEHOWAH, our GOD, KING of the universe, WHO has kept us alive, sustained us, and brought us to this season.]

The Sounds of the Shofar
There are four different sounds associated with the blowing of the Shofar during the Yom Teruah service. These sounds are interpreted as follows:
1. Tekiah — A pure unbroken sound that calls man to search his heart, forsake his wrong ways, and seek forgiveness through repentance. The Tekiah called the people to attention and to gather to Moses. It is the calling note, calling your attention and holding you. It would be the customary summons to listen to GOD, to receive from HIM the orders for the day. The sound of the KING’S coronation.
2. Shebarim — A broken, staccato, trembling sound. It typifies the sorrow that comes to man when he realizes his misconduct and desires to change his ways. Signifies repentance.

3. Teruah — A wave-like sound of alarm calling upon man to stand by the banner of GOD. Teruah in Hebrew means not only a certain unique sound. It also implies "to break" — denoting breaking something and/or causing damage. It is the note for bustling, speedy activity, the signal for breaking up, for striking tents and breaking up camp. Sound to awaken the soul.

4. Tekiah Gedolah — The prolonged, unbroken sound typifying a final appeal to sincere repentance and atonement (sound as long as you can blow).

The Shofar blowing on Yom Teruah is a combination of the various sounds. The call of the shofar reminds us that the KING OF THE UNIVERSE loves us, is thinking about us, and cares about our lives. HE is judging us because HE loves us. With GOD, it is crucial to remember that no matter how we feel about HIM, HIS love for us is unwavering.

The Tekiah is sounded first to call man's heart to give attention and hear the following "sound" of the Shofar message. It is then followed by the Teruah which would then give the HOLY ONE’S order to break off and away from every attachment that estranges us from HIM, and from our own purposes and present mode of life which is displeasing to the ALMIGHTY, and leave behind every worthless activity. The broken sound reminds us that we have a job of "breaking" to do as well — the breaking of our evil inclination.
Based on the commandment in Numbers 29:1 ["And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work. For you it is a day of blowing the trumpets."], one hundred Shofar blasts are dramatically sounded throughout the prayers, awakening us to improve our ways.

It is our willingness to declare GOD as KING that entitles us to a new life. Our request for life is based on our desire for a relationship with HIM. Like other relationships it is possible that there are areas that need improvement, however, those imperfections should not detract from the value of the relationship.

The Eternal New Year begins in the heart of him who accepted MESSIAH YESHUA as their LORD & SAVIOR. At that moment the heart was changed and all his sins were cast into the depths of the sea and he now is a new creation in CHRIST JESUS, the KING OF GLORY. The trumpet of the LORD OF HOSTS will sound announcing the greatest event as a new name is written in the LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE!

This New Creation is now awaiting the sound of the ETERNAL ONE when HE calls us Home to be with HIM forevermore. Truly, this will be the greatest of all events since the days of MESSIAH'S flesh! O glorious day when KING JESUS shall come for HIS OWN — both Jew and Gentile — who have repented of their sins (Hebrew: teshuvah — to return, repent, contrition) and accepted the redemption HE purchased through CHRIST JESUS' SUPREME SACRIFICE on the Altar of Calvary!

In Judaism, a distinction is made between repentance for sins committed against GOD and those committed against one’s fellow man. For this reason the TORAH has two different sacrifices dealing with sin. The first was known as "ha’taat" — the sin offering, while the other is called "asham" — the guilt offering. The sin offering taught that when man sinned against the MASTER CREATOR, restitution must be made with GOD; whereas, the guilt offering concerned man’s restoring his relationship with another man before GOD. If a person sinned against another person, forgiveness would not be given by the ALMIGHTY if the guilty party only confessed his sin to GOD. He must first make restitution with his fellow man and then come to GOD.

MESSIAH YESHUA referred to this in the Book of Mattatiyahu (Matthew): "Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift." [Matthew 5. 23 - 24]

Rosh ha’Shana, a celebration of GOD’S KINGSHIP and our desire to have a relationship with HIM. May this time serve as a prelude to a Happy New Year for each of us and our families. We cover you with our love and prayers. May your relationship with the HOLY CREATOR, the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH, grow daily in the little time we have left to serve HIM here on earth. L’Chayim!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Chag Semayah — Good Holy Days! May you be inscribed in the BOOK OF LIFE and may the Jewish nation be rid of their enemies. Pardon our sins and grant us a life of health, prosperity and blessings.
The Rosh ha’Shana prayers—longer, more melodious, and more intense and inspirational than usual — concentrate on GOD'S KINGSHIP and HIS judgment of all creatures.
"Ketiva Vahatima Tova — may your inscription and seal be for good." Our prayer for each of you is for a good year, not one just good for us, but a year where we do good to others.
Days of Awe - Day 31 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Mon 14 Sep 2015 - 22:36

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
He who kneels before the ALMIGHTY ONE, can stand before any person.

FEAST OF TRUMPETS 5776
At some point in history, the Feast of Yom Teruah (a more accurate term for the Day of Trumpets — Leviticus/B'Midvar 23. 23 - 25) became the day on which the Jewish New Year is celebrated, more popularly known as Rosh ha’Shanah (celebrated in the 7th month, Tishri) which translates as "Head of the Year." {Beginning tonight at sundown — Sunday Evening, September 13th this year} This Festival, a truly extraordinary occasion, is both a memorial and a blessing.

The Feast of Trumpets is also called "Yom ha'Din" — the Day of Judgment and "Yom ha’Zikkaron" — the Day of Remembrance. The Apostle Paul was speaking of the appointed time when he declared: "HE (the RIGHTEOUS ONE) has appointed a day on which HE will judge the world in righteousness by the MAN (YESHUA THE ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD) whom HE has ordained. HE has given assurance of this to all by raising HIM from the dead." [Acts 17. 31 – 32] And again, warning of the judgment to come: "It is a righteous thing with GOD to repay with tribulation those who trouble you, and to give you who are troubled rest with us when the LORD JESUS is revealed from heaven with HIS mighty angels, in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know GOD, and on those who do not obey the GOSPEL of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH." [2 Thessalonians 1. 6 – 9]

However, according to Exodus/Shemot 12:2, Nisan (Passover Season-March/April) is the month regarded as the "head" of the year, "the beginning of months." There are two other places in the Hebrew expression where "Rosh ha’Shanah (head or beginning of the year)" is found in the HOLY SCRIPTURE. ["It is a land the LORD your GOD cares for; the eyes of the LORD your GOD are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end." Deuteronomy/Devarim 11. 12 "In the twenty-fifth year of our exile, the exile of King Jehoiachin, the fourteenth year after the City had fallen, at the beginning of the year, the tenth day of the month — on that very day." Ezekiel/Yehezke-El 40. 1]

Our Jewish people celebrate their New Year's Day in a very solemn way, unlike the Gentile practice. Jews examine their record for the past year and make resolutions to do better the coming year. According the Talmud, three books are opened on Yom Teruah/Rosh ha’Shanah before the MIGHTY CREATOR, wherein the fate of the righteous, the wicked, and those of a middle class are recorded. The names of the righteous are immediately inscribed and they are sealed at once to life. The middle class are allowed 10 days to repent and become righteous; while the wicked are altogether blotted out of the Book of the Living.

Tradition alleges that Adam was created about the time of the Feast of Trumpets. According to the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, when YESHUA, the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL was born, that was certainly a new beginning. It will be a time of renewal when MESSIAH YESHUA returns some glorious day. We are in the final days of repentance leading to the Day of Atonement. Now is the time to make things right with the GREAT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH and with each other before the coming final judgment. Maybe soon, on some Feast of Trumpets, the LORD YESHUA will come for all who believe in HIM. [1 Thessalonians 4. 13 - 18]

In fulfillment of the EVER-LIVING ONE'S command, Jews gather on Yom Teruah/Rosh ha’Shanah during the day at the Synagogue where the most prominent feature of the religious ceremony is the blowing of the Shofar (ram's horn), marking the preparation of the Holy Festival. "Speak to the Israelite people thus — In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall observe Sabbath rest, a sacred occasion commemorated with loud blasts." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 23. 24 Tanakh, Torah]

On this day, the Jewish people feel that the purpose for the sounding of the Shofar is to arouse them to the serious contemplation of their sinfulness as well as to their duty to lead a godly life. The Shofar is blown as a summons for the conscience to awake and heed the call of duty. For this reason, Yom Teruah/Rosh ha’Shanah is known as "The Day of the Sounding of the Horn." Furthermore, on that day it is concluded that RIGHTEOUS OMNIPOTENT JUDGE, the FAITHFUL & TRUE, calls to memory the faults and sins of the past year, it is also known as "Yom Zikrown" — The Day of Memorial. And, since Jewish people feel they are then on trial before the JUDGE OF THE UNIVERSE, Rosh ha’Shanah is also known as the Day of Judgment (Yom ha'Din). The prayers of the Jewish people to our RIGHTEOUS LORD GOD is that the HOLY ONE, blessed be He and blessed be HIS NAME, would inscribe their name in the "SEFER ha’HAYYIM — THE BOOK OF LIFE."

"Tashlikh (casting off)" is another custom observed on this holy day. In fulfillment of the text — "YOU will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea." [Micah (Michah) 7. 19 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Jews go to the edge of a running stream and throw rocks into the water. In doing so, prayers are recited concluding with the words: "May GOD cast our sins into the depths of the sea!"

There is another great event which will be proclaimed by the blowing of a trumpet! This event is going to rock this world as never any event in her history!
"For the LORD YEHOVAH HIMSELF will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of GOD. And the dead in MESSIAH will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air. And thus we shall always be with the LORD." [1 Thessalonians 4. 16 - 17]

"Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed." [1 Corinthians 15. 51 - 52]

The Eternal New Year began in the heart of those who accepted the MESSIAH YESHUA as their SAVIOR, REDEEMER & LORD. At that moment the heart was changed and all his sins were cast into the depths of the sea. The trumpet of the LORD OF HOSTS sounded announcing this great event and a new name was written in the LAMB'S BOOK OF LIFE! This New Creation is now awaiting the Sound of the Shofar (ram's horn) which shall usher in that greatest of all events since the days of YESHUA ha'MASHIACH'S flesh! O glorious day when the LORD shall come for HIS OWN — both Jew and Gentile — who have accepted the redemption HE purchased through HIS SUPREME SACRIFICE on the Altar of Calvary! Without question, the incredible wonder of this Festival of Trumpets is a memorial and a blessing.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcoming Yom Teruah/Rosh ha’Shanah — a Solemn Sabbath! Rejoicing in the new day and continually praising ALMIGHTY GOD for HIS FEASTS! This Rosh ha’Shanah concludes the Shmita, the holy Sabbatical Year in the Land of Israel . Our prayers for you and your family is that your life be filled with health, happiness, and prosperity in knowing our EXTRAORDINARY LOVING SAVIOR personally.
Remembrance (zichronot) is to never forget that the ALMIGHTY loves you — imperfect, struggling, wonderful, one-of-a-kind you.

Rosh ha’Shanah is a time when we coronate (empower, enthrone) GOD as our KING. The ALMIGHTY ONE loves us more then we can imagine; HE is flawless and infallible. Everything HE does is for our good. All that happens to us is ultimately good and perfect.

Have a sweet and good new year — have health. happiness, love, and may there be true peace in the Land of Israel and the whole world; Come LORD YESHUA!
"L'Shanah Tova tikatevu v'techateimu — May you be inscribed and sealed for a good year!"

The 10 Days of Awe begin tonight, they are from Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets/Rosh ha’Shana) through Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement). These days are a foreshadowing picture and rehearsal of the Second Coming of MESSIAH YESHUA, the fulfillment of prophetic SCRIPTURES.
Day 30 of Repentance

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Sun 13 Sep 2015 - 21:31

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
One good deed has many claimants.

JUSTIFIED BY FAITH
"Behold the proud, his soul is not upright in him: But the just shall live by his faith." [Habakkuk 2. 4 NKJV] "Lo, there is a reward for the upright — the life breath within him — for the righteous man is rewarded with life for his fidelity." [Habakkuk 2. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"The just shall live by faith" is an absolutely excellent doctrine. The Hebrew word "tsaddiyq" means just, justified, right, righteous, correct, lawful. The HOLY ONE says that a person is enabled to live righteously by his faith.

"For in it the righteousness of GOD is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, the just shall live by faith." [Romans 1. 17] The words "from-faith-to-faith" means "from the beginning of faith to the end of faith" and the context verifies that the foundational item of faith is faith in "HIS eternal power and GODhead" which "from the creation of the world HIS invisible attributes are clearly seen." [Romans 1. 20]

"Now the just shall live by faith; but IF ANYONE DRAWS BACK, MY SOUL HAS NO PLEASURE IN HIM." [Hebrews 10. 38] The writer of Hebrews, most probably the Apostle Paul, records that the fundamental ingredient of faith is a uniquely specific creation, "By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the WORD OF GOD, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear visibly." [Hebrews 11. 3]

"But that no one is justified by the Law in the sight of GOD is evident, for the just shall live by faith." [Galatians 3. 11] Paul's long explanation to the Galatian legalists begins, "knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the Law but by faith in JESUS the CHRIST, even we have believed in CHRIST JESUS, that we might be justified by faith in HIM and not by the works of the Law; for by the works of the Law no flesh shall be justified." [Galatians 2. 16] Thus, justifying, saving, living faith begins and centers in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, first as CREATOR of all things, then as the SAVIOR & REDEEMER WHO "has redeemed us from the curse of the Law having become a curse for us." [Galatians 3. 13] In HIS precious hands we can confidently entrust our spirit, soul, and body both now and forevermore.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Let us reverently sanctify the NAME of the HOLY ONE OF JACOB and fear the GREAT GOD OF ISRAEL. As we humble ourselves before the LORD GOD, our joy is increased and we are satisfied in HIS love. . . With great love YOU have loved us, O our GOD, and with exceeding compassion YOU have borne with us. Our fathers believed and trusted in YOU; therefore you taught them the laws of life, and showed them the ways of wisdom. We implore YOU, O MERCIFUL FATHER, to grant us discernment, that we may understand and fulfill all the TEACHINGS of YOUR WORD. Make us gladly obedient to YOUR commandments and fill our hearts with love and reverence for YOU. In YOU we put our trust; we rejoice and delight in YOUR help, for with YOU alone is salvation, and peace in the soul of man. YOU have called us as teachers of YOUR Law; YOU have chosen us for a holy mission to mankind; therefore do we joyfully lift up our voices and proclaim YOUR magnificence. Praised are YOU, O GOD, WHO has chosen us in love. We give praised to YOUR HOLY NAME and thank YOU for YESHUA, our REDEEMER.
Day 20 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Sat 12 Sep 2015 - 21:24

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The Eternal People of the Book are the Jews, through whom the ALMIGHTY ONE gave the HOLY SCRIPTURES to the world.

OUR BLESSINGS IN MESSIAH
"For we know that if our earthly house, this tent, is destroyed, we have a building from GOD, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." [2 Corinthians 5. 1]

The blessings we have in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH are far too vast and numerous to calculate, but it is a blessing to retell a few. First, "In HIM (our BELOVED SAVIOR) we have redemption through HIS blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of HIS grace." [Ephesians 1. 7] As a result, "being justified by faith, we have peace with GOD through our LORD JESUS CHRIST." [Romans 5. 1]

GOD'S PRECIOUS WORD assures us of salvation through these promises. "These things I have written to you who believe in the NAME of the SON OF GOD, that you may know that you have eternal life." [1 John 5. 13] A greater assurance is given by the witness of the SPIRIT OF GOD WHO indwells our bodies when we believe on the LORD JESUS, THE ROCK of our salvation, THE ROCK of our strength. "You have received the SPIRIT of adoption, whereby we cry — ABBA, FATHER!" [Romans 8. 15]

There are many other blessings that are ours in the MESSIAH YESHUA, "we have obtained an inheritance" [Ephesians 1. 11] for we are joint-heirs with JESUS, the TRUE VINE; YESHUA, our REFUGE. GOD OMNIPOTENT confirmed HIS promises in the book of Hebrews when HE declare — "we might have strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us. This HOPE we have as an ANCHOR of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters THE PRESENCE behind the veil." [Hebrews 6. 18 - 19] "We have a GREAT HIGH PRIEST WHO has passed through the heavens, JESUS, the SON OF GOD." [Hebrews 4. 14] And HE is ever-living "to make intercession" for us at the THRONE OF GOD. [Hebrews 7. 25]

Ultimately, when our ALL-WISE & LOVING MASTER CREATOR calls us home, "we have a building of GOD, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens." And we will "be present with the LORD" throughout the ages to come. [2 Corinthians 5. 8] There are countless treasures awaiting us, but the greatest of all is — we have forgiveness of sins; we have the LORD YESHUA, the PRINCE OF PEACE in our lives now and we will be with HIM forevermore. HalleluYAH!!!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O EVER-FAITHFUL GOD, keep my tongue from evil and my lips from speaking guile. Be my SUPPORT when grief silences my voice, and my COMFORT when woe bends my spirit. Plant humility in my soul, and strengthen my heart with perfect faith in YOU. Help me to be strong in trials and temptations and to be humble always before YOU, my STRONG-TOWER. Guide me by the LIGHT of YOUR counsel, and let me ever find rest in YOU — my ROCK and my REDEEMER. Praised be the LORD GOD to WHOM all praise is due for ever and ever. We bow the head and bend the knee and magnify the KING of kings, the HOLY ONE, praised be HE. Amen!
Shana Tova uMetukah! We wish you and your family a happy, healthy year – may you have a year filled with meaning and purpose and happiness that will surely follow.
Day 26 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Great is repentance; it turns sins into incentives for correct conduct.

RECONCILIATION
"A man takes a wife and marries her. She fails to please him because he finds something obnoxious about her, and he writes her a bill of divorcement, hands it to her, and sends her away from his house; she leaves his household and becomes the wife of another man; then this latter husband rejects her, writes her a bill of divorcement, hands it to her, and sends her away from him; or the man who married her last dies. Then her first husband who divorced her shall not take her to wife again, since she has been defiled — disqualified for him — for that would be abhorrent to the LORD. You must not bring sin upon the land that the LORD your GOD is giving you as a heritage." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 24. 1 - 4 Tanakh, Torah]

The marvelous ministry of reconciliation has been distorted by many churches and fellow-CHRISTians when they have failed to read and follow the WRITTEN SCRIPTURES dealing with marriage and re-marriage. Even King David honoured GOD'S commandment with his concubines after they were defiled by Absalom, putting them in "a guarded place, he provided for them, but did not cohabit with them. They remained in seclusion until the day they died, living in widowhood." [2 Samuel (Shemuel Bet) 20. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"If a man divorces his wife, and she leaves him and marries another man, can he ever go back to her?" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 3. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im] The answer is emphatically — No! it would be an abomination before the HOLY & RIGHTEOUS LORD GOD because she has been defiled. On the other hand, if the couple separates for a time and remain pure, they may be reconciled together again. "Now to the married I command, yet not I but the LORD: A wife is not to depart from her husband. But even if she does depart, let her remain unmarried or be reconciled to her husband. And a husband is not to divorce his wife." [2 Corinthians 7. 10 - 11]

However, dealing with our relationship with the ALL-WISE ETERNAL ONE, though we have been defiled by sin, HE has said: "Turn back to ME — says the LORD OF HOSTS — and I will return to you — said the LORD OF HOSTS." [Zechariah (Zecharyah) 1. 3 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

The work of reconciling lost men back to a relationship with HOLY GOD is only possible as provided by the precious blood of the PRINCE OF PEACE, MESSIAH YESHUA through HIS shed blood of atonement. HE has committed this ministry to us, HIS servants. A CHRIST-like life can only be gained if we are centered in the LORD JESUS and "those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for HIM WHO died for them and rose again." [2 Corinthians 5. 15]

As we serve in the ministry of reconciliation, may we do the service of the MOST HOLY GOD as HE commands and not by our own understanding. "Therefore, if anyone is in CHRIST, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of GOD, WHO has reconciled us to HIMSELF through JESUS CHRIST, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that GOD was in CHRIST reconciling the world to HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for CHRIST, as though GOD were pleading through us: we implore you on MESSIAH'S behalf, be reconciled to GOD." [2 Corinthians 5. 17 - 20] Like our BLESSED MASTER, look for good and encourage with forgiveness.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcome Sabbath! We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR mercies and grace we were taught the sanctity of the weekly day of rest, Sabbath is the sign of the tie that binds us to YOU. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest. Amen
Shabbos calls us to bring the highest moral values. to our daily labor and to culminate the workweek with kedushah (holiness), menuchah (rest), and oneg (joy). May God, Whose grace is irresistible and all sufficient, be glorified.
As we celebrate Yamym Noraym (High Holy Days); may GOD'S PRECIOUS WRITTEN WORD be the center of your life. In it, you will find sweet honey in the ROCK. As the Shofar sounds, we are reminded that the KING OF THE Universe loves us, is thinking about us, and cares about our lives. HE is judging us because HE loves us. It is crucial to remember that, with GOD no matter how we feel about HIM, HIS love for us is unwavering. Have a blessed day as you saturate yourself in the sweetness of the MIGHTY LORD, the SOURCE OF LIFE.
Day 28 of Repentance

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
There is no reason to try predicting the future, the BIBLE has already done that. . . and with greater certainty.

EVEN NOW
"You are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10]

There are so very many marvelous and wondrous things that await us IF we have trusted the LORD Messiah YesHUA for our salvation — specifically, His mercies: "The LORD is longsuffering, slow to anger, abundant in mercy and abounding in kindness; forgiving iniquity and transgression." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 14. 18 Tanakh, Torah] "One thing GOD has spoken; two things have I heard — That Might belongs to ADONEY, and Faithfulness is YOURS, O LORD, to reward each man according to his deeds." [Psalms (Tehillym) 62. 11 - 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

It is written, "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which GOD has prepared for those who love HIM." [1 Corinthians 2. 9] However, do not miss the next line. . . "But GOD has revealed them to us through HIS SPIRIT. For the SPIRIT searches all things, yes, the deep things of GOD." [1 Corinthians 2. 10] "The concealed (secret) things belong to the LORD GOD, but the overt acts (those things which are clearly revealed), it is for us and to our children ever to apply all the words and provisions of this TEACHING (Law)." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 29. 29 Tanakh, Torah] This means that we are free from any condemnation at the Judgment. "There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in CHRIST JESUS, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the SPIRIT. For the Law of the SPIRIT of life in CHRIST JESUS has made me free from the law of sin and death." [Romans 8. 1 - 2]

We have been justified already, declared righteous with the righteousness of MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF. "GOD demonstrates HIS OWN love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, CHRIST died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by HIS blood, we shall be saved from wrath through HIM. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to GOD through the death of HIS SON, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by HIS life." [Romans 5. 8 - 10] "But now the righteousness of GOD apart from the Law is revealed — even the righteousness of GOD, through faith in CHRIST JESUS, to all and on all who believe." [Romans 3. 21 – 22] We are now the people of the RIGHTEOUS, LOVING, HOLY GOD who have obtained mercy.

In the magnificent passage, the precious Apostle John confirms the glorious truth, "Beloved, now we are children of GOD; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when HE is revealed, we shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2]

As CHRIST-like-ones, we have the wonderful assurance that our blessed LORD YESHUA is praying for us, even now for Messiah, the perfect REFUGE, is entered into Heaven itself. "For MESSIAH has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us" [Hebrews 9. 24] since "HE always lives to make intercession for them." [Hebrews 7. 25]

"Now to Him Who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to GOD our SAVIOR, WHO alone is wise, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and forever, Amen!" [Jude 24 - 25] What a MIGHTY GOD we serve!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Judgment is coming, troubles are coming, and we must live disciplined, enduring CHRIST-filled lives. Lives disciplined by the WORD OF GOD and empowered by HIS HOLY SPIRIT to give us strength and courage to fight evil and to triumph over it. May the WONDROUS LORD GOD grant you the privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin. All glory and praise to the ALMIGHTY LORD GOD, KING OF CREATION forever!
Our prayer is that Rosh ha’Shanah marks a new beginning for you. . . through a year blessed with goodness and promise through MESSIAH YESHUA the KING OF Glory. And, as you observe the High Holy Days, may your home be filled with love and may the year ahead be filled with sweetness. May happiness, love, and the joy of Messiah reign in your lives daily. Amen!
Day 27 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Wed 9 Sep 2015 - 22:18

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Even in excess, there should be moderation.

MESSIAH'S SPECIAL PEOPLE
"Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, which cannot be measured or numbered. And it shall come to pass in the place where it was said to them — You are not MY people — there it shall be said to them — You are sons of the LIVING GOD." [Hosea (Hoshea) 1. 10; 2. 23 w/Romans 9. 19 - 26]

Contrary to the thinking of some, CHRISTianity is not a Gentile religion but is completely Jewish! CHRISTianity is the fulfillment of the Jewish faith found in the OLD COVENANT! Jews today who believe in MESSIAH YESHUA have not left the faith of their forefathers but rather have rediscovered it. The verses in Hosea meant that the HOLY ONE would cut the people off officially as a people, and during that time HE would refuse to be their GOD. [v. 9] Regardless of being cut off, they would eventually multiply, be great, and again be called the children of God. [v. 10]

Compare this with the NEW COVENANT promise where Peter is writing to both Jewish and Gentile believers in the LORD JESUS, "But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, HIS OWN special people, that you may proclaim the praises of HIM WHO called you out of darkness into HIS marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of GOD, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy." [1 Peter 2. 9 - 10] This is the same declaration YEHOWAH promised to Israel in the OLD COVENANT — "Now then, if you will obey ME faithfully, and keep MY Covenant, you shall be MY treasured possession among all the peoples. Indeed, all the earth is MINE, but you shall be to ME a kingdom of priests and a holy nation." [Exodus (Shemot) 19. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah]

The covenant stands and has been extended to the Gentiles who believe in MESSIAH. Jews who believe in MESSIAH YESHUA have not deserted their nation but weep with their MESSIAH over the continued sorrow of their beloved people who reject the PROMISED ONE OF GOD. Jewish believers today are NEW COVENANT MESSIANIC believers who see and follow the faith of ancient Israel as fulfilled in the LORD JESUS CHRIST.

The TORAH agrees fully with the Commandments of YESHUA, the problem is in the man-made rules and regulations (Judaism) that go beyond the moral law of the TORAH. Judaism is so wrapped up in the letter of the Law, they missed the heart of the Law as GOD intended in it. GOD'S desire for HIS people has never changed, HIS plan has always extended to include Gentiles who believe.

The CHRISTian Church, as recorded in the NEW COVENANT, was composed exclusively of Jewish believers in YESHUA until about twelve years after HIS ascension into heaven! CHRISTianity, pure CHRISTianity, was not rejected by our Jewish forefathers, but was accepted by them. They were the first to preach the GOOD NEWS, the GOSPEL OF YESHUA their MESSIAH, and defended it with their lives. The GOSPEL happened to be Jewish all the way through! In the early CHRISTian church of the NEW COVENANT, the rare thing was to find a Gentile believer among them!

Neither is the Church today a continuation of Judaism. ALMIGHTY GOD declared that the COVENANT OF MOUNT SINAI (MOSAIC LAW) was broken by Israel . [Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 31. 31 - 34] Through MESSIAH YESHUA, GOD provided a New Covenant for Jews and Gentiles. This COVENANT does not mean "Jewish" nor does it destroy the Old Covenant, it confirms and fulfills it. [Matthew 5. 17; Romans 3. 31; 8. 4] Judaism does not mean "Jewish" nor does it make anyone Jewish who practices its beliefs, holidays, and ceremonies. True, the religion of national, unconverted Israel today is Judaism, but it is not the pure faith of their ancestors as we find recorded in the HEBREW SCRIPTURES!

The Church began in the OLD COVENANT days and was composed of Jews who believed in the coming MESSIAH. The Hebrew word by which the church was called is kahila or edah meaning a religious assembly or congregation.

It is sad to realize that many of my Jewish people do not know the difference between a Gentile and a CHRISTian. They feel they are one and the same. It has been thought that all who are not Jewish are Gentiles and that all Gentiles are CHRISTians. {That is what this writer was taught.} Nothing could be further from the truth! The WORD OF GOD describes a CHRISTian as one who has come out of GOD-lessness into the faith of the JEWISH MESSIAH & REDEEMER. There are many Gentiles who do not believe in the LORD JESUS and follow HIM, even as there are many Jews who do not accept HIM. Not all those who call themselves CHRISTians are really CHRIST-like-ones, true followers of CHRIST JESUS, just as not all who are Jewish are followers of Judaism. A true CHRISTian is, first of all, a believer in IMMANU’EL, THE ANOINTED ONE. That follower will have a spirit of love and of compassion for all men, Jew or Gentile, that they may be freed from the bondage of sin. A true CHRISTian is one who prays for both Jews and Gentiles to receive the LORD JESUS into their hearts so that they may have peace with GOD ETERNAL.

YESHUA ha'MASHIACH did not come to bring a new religion, but to fulfill the HEBREW SCRIPTURES. The NEW COVENANT is not a NEW BOOK, but is the continuation and completion of the OLD. What is hidden in the FIRST TESTAMENT is revealed in the NEW. When a Jewish person accepts YESHUA as their MESSIAH & SAVIOR, he becomes a true Jew! He has accepted what belongs to him by GOD'S COVENANT with his fathers. The Church of the NEW COVENANT (which developed out of the Church of the FIRST TESTAMENT) was composed of Jewish believers. According to a record in history, there were 25,000 Jews who recognized and accepted JESUS as their MESSIAH soon after Shavuoth (Pentecost) 2,000 years ago. YESHUA, WHO was a Jew according to GOD'S promises concerning MESSIAH'S genealogy, does not expect any Jew to change the fact that he is Jewish, but wants every Jew to come into living touch with GOD, to love GOD with all his heart, soul, and mind.

Jewish believers in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH know and love the SCRIPTURES of the FIRST COVENANT more than ever they did before. They know the meaning of the holidays and customs of their forefathers. They have been brought to a greater sympathy and understanding and also a greater love for Israel . They now have a deep impression on their hearts (put there by the MASTER DESIGNER HIMSELF) to pray for their own Jewish people everywhere that they see the LIGHT and come into the NEW COVENANT with HIM. They do not deny their heritage, but realize more than ever that they are the natural descendants of Abraham through Isaac and Jacob — not only Jewish by descent — but true Jews inwardly, sons of GOD'S PROMISE, for they have come into HIS NEW COVENANT; they believe on JESUS as their LORD, MESSIAH, ROCK OF SALVATION, and their Soon-Coming King.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
LORD, thank YOU that YOU continue to keep us in life and to preserve us that we may observe YOUR statutes, to do YOUR will, and serve YOU with a perfect heart; seeing that we give thanks to YOU. Blessed be ALMIGHTY GOD to WHOM thanksgivings, honor and praise are due.
As you observe the High Holy Days, may your home be filled with love and may the year ahead be filled with sweetness. May happiness, love and the joy of Messiah reign in your lives daily.
"Ketiva Vahatima Tova — may your inscription and seal be for good."
Day 25 of Repentance.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
"If you don't know what you're living for, you haven't yet lived." [–Rabbi Noah Weinberg]
Life is the most precious thing we have. Everyone wants to live a meaningful life, but we are so occupied with living that we don't have a moment to really think about living. Ask the important consequential questions about life and start focusing on living a life of real purpose that will be eternally blessed.

THREE TABERNACLES
"Exactly as I show you — the pattern of the Tabernacle and the pattern of all its furnishings — so shall you make it." [Exodus (Shemot) 25. 9 Tanakh, Torah]

This is the first mention of the Tabernacle wherein the religious life of Israel was centered during their time of wandering in the desert. All the details of its design, construction, and service occupy thirteen chapters in Exodus/Shemot — more times then any other item in HOLY WRIT. These details provide a wealth of typological intimations of the person and work of the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH.

However, this Tabernacle was based on the pattern of "the TRUE TABERNACLE which the LORD erected, and not man." [Hebrews 8. 2] "But MESSIAH came as HIGH PRIEST...the greater and more perfect TABERNACLE...entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption." [Hebrews 9. 11 - 12] There is a Heavenly Tabernacle where the ALL-TOGETHER LOVELY ONE now dwells, and the furnishings and service of the earthly tabernacle where mere "copies of the things in the heavens." [Hebrews 9. 23] "YESHUA has not entered the holy places made with hands, which are copies of the True, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of GOD for us." [Hebrews 9. 24 - 25]

Even as promised in the OLD COVENANT, "I will set MY TABERNACLE among you...I will walk among you and be your GOD, and you shall be MY people." [Leviticus/Vayikra 26. 11 - 12], the REDEEMER OF ISRAEL also came to earth, entering as the third TABERNACLE. "And the WORD became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld HIS glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the FATHER, full of grace and truth." [John 1. 14] In the Greek, the word skeenoo translated “dwelt” is actually means "tabernacle, to tent, encamp, occupy, reside (symbolic of protection and communion)" — thus the human body that YESHUA had became GOD’S TABERNACLE, and HE will dwell there forever. Although that body died, it was raised incorruptible, immortal, eternal...yet still it is a physical body, merely one that will never die again.

Finally, we have MESSIAH’S glorious assurance in the last book of the NEW COVENANT, that in this TABERNACLE, HE will dwell among us eternally. "Behold, the TABERNACLE OF GOD is with men, and HE will dwell with them, and they shall be HIS people. GOD HIMSELF will be with them and be their GOD." [Revelation 21. 3 - 4] It just keeps getting better and better for the saints of all ages! HalleluYAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Praised is YOUR HOLY NAME, O LORD GOD. YOU have made YOUR eternal law our portion, and gave us a goodly heritage. YOU appointed us to proclaim YOUR truth to the nations and to win them for YOUR Law of Righteousness. Sanctify us for the service to which YOU called us, O HEAVENLY FATHER, that YOUR NAME may be hallowed through us in all the world. Gather all YOUR children around YOUR banner of truth that YOUR praise may resound from one end of the earth to the other, and that the entire human family may be blessed with truth and peace!

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

 A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle!

ASK WHAT YOU WILL
"ELOHIYM appeared to Solomon and said to him — Ask, what shall I grant you? — Solomon answered — YOU dealt most graciously with my father David, and now You have made me king in his stead. Now, LORD GOD, let YOUR promise to my father David be fulfilled; for YOU have made me king over a people as numerous as the dust of the earth. Grant me then the wisdom and knowledge to lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of YOURS?" [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 1. 7 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Solomon is the only man recorded in HOLY SCRIPTURE that OMNIPOTENT GOD gave the opportunity to choose or ask for his heart's desires. The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL knew Solomon's heart, that he would want wisdom, knowledge and understanding so he could reign over the Israelite peoples and influence them in a GOD-fearing supremacy.

The LOVING CREATOR was pleased that Solomon had asked for this. And ALMIGHTY GOD said to him, "Because you asked for this — you did not ask for long life, you did not ask for riches, you did not ask for the life of your enemies, but you asked for discernment in dispensing justice — I now do as you have spoken. I grant you a wise and discerning mind; there has never been anyone like you before, nor will anyone like you arise. And I also grant you what you did not ask for — both riches and glory all your life — the like of which no king has ever had. And I will further grant you long life, IF you will walk in My ways and observe MY Laws and commandments, as did your father David." [1 Kings (Melakhim Alef) 3. 10 - 14 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Many people quote Scripture to test the HOLY GOD OF HEAVEN, and they are usually asking for their own self embellishment (exaggeration, elaboration, amplification). However, when we allow the LORD OF GLORY to prepare our heart, HE hears our prayer and will gladly give us HIS HOLY SPIRIT. "Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but desire realized is a Tree of Life." [Proverbs (Mishle) 13. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] When the desire of our heart is HIS Command, our life is marvelous and indescribably joyous, even in adversities. We are confident that all comes from HIS precious hands, and HE is always with us.

The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH taught, "in that day you will ask ME nothing. Most assuredly, I say to you, whatever you ask the FATHER in MY NAME HE will give you. Until now you have asked nothing in MY NAME. Ask! and you will receive, that your joy may be full." [John 16. 23 - 24] If we ask according to the will of the GOD OF OUR SALVATION, we would be asking for the HOLY SPIRIT, for HIS wisdom, discernment, courage and protection. "If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly FATHER give the HOLY SPIRIT to those who ask HIM!" [Luke 11. 13]

"Delight yourself in the favor of the LORD, and HE will grant you the desires of your heart. Leave all your way to the LORD; trust in HIM; and HE will do it." [Psalms (Tehillym) 37. 4 - 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The desire of my heart is to be like my LORD & SAVIOR, MESSIAH YESHUA! How about you? We need the HOLY SPIRIT to accomplish this.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Help us, O our GOD, to banish from our hearts all pride and vain-glory, all confidence in worldly possessions, all self-sufficient leaning upon our own reason. Fill us with the spirit of meekness and the grace of modesty, that we may become wise in the fear of YOU. May we never forget that all we have and prize is but lent to us, a trust for which we must render account to YOU. O HEAVENLY FATHER , put into our hearts the love and fear of YOU, that we my consecrate our lives to YOUR service and glorify YOUR NAME in the eyes of all men.
Day 24 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Sun 6 Sep 2015 - 21:29

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The message on our coins is "in GOD we trust" — but all too often the message of our lives is that it is wealth we really worship and trust.

BY NO MEANS
"Whoever receives you receives ME, and he who receives ME receives HIM WHO sent ME. He who receives a prophet in the name of a prophet shall receive a prophet's reward. And he who receives a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man's reward. And whoever gives one of these little ones only a cup of cold water in the name of a disciple, assuredly, I say to you, he shall by no means lose his reward." [Matthew 10. 40 - 42]

The phrase "by no means" is the translation of two single-syllables in the Greek language, which in effect becomes a double negative, stressing that the thing mentioned will absolutely in no way will ever happen. The expression can also be translated "in no case; in no wise; or not at all." Thus, it is very instructive to notice a few such instances in HOLY SCRIPTURE which can never ever happen:

The opening Text says that any small kindness done in the NAME of YESHUA or one of HIS followers, will by no means go unrewarded. MESSIAH even declared, "whoever does not receive the Kingdom of GOD like a little child will by no means enter it." [Luke 18. 17] HE also stated — "All that the FATHER gives ME will come to ME, and the one who comes to ME I will by no means cast out. For I have come down from Heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the will of HIM WHO sent ME. This is the will of the Father WHO sent ME, that of all HE has given ME I should lose nothing, but should raise it up at the Last Day. And this is the will of HIM WHO sent ME, that everyone who sees the SON and believes in HIM may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the Last Day." [John 6. 37 - 40]

This shows that both HIS warnings and HIS assurances are pointedly positive! Mere outward righteousness will never be sufficient. YESHUA emphatically stated, "unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven." [Matthew 5. 20]

Whosoever will come to the MASTER, however are promised that HE "will never leave you nor forsake you." [Hebrews 13. 5] "Remember, I am with you and will keep (protect) you wherever you go...for I will not leave you." [Genesis (Bereshith) 28. 15 Tanakh, Torah] "Be strong and of good courage, do not fear or be afraid...for the LORD your GOD HIMSELF goes with you. HE will not fail you or forsake you." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 31. 6 Tanakh, Torah] And regarding the HOLY WRITTEN WORD HE declares — "till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the Law till all is fulfilled." [Matthew 5. 18]

Then, when the Holy City, the Bride, the LAMB'S Wife (Revelation 21:9) comes down out of Heaven, and the eternal ages begin, "there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the LAMB'S Book of Life." [Revelation 21. 27] As servants of the LORD MOST HIGH, we are confident that nothing HE said shall ever fail. Therefore, we love the LORD our GOD, walk in all HIS ways, keep HIS commands, hold fast to HIM and serve HIM will all our heart and soul out of love and gratitude.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As we bid farewell to Shabbos, may the MIGHTY GOD WHO separates the holy from the secular and mundane, forgive our sins and grant us a week of peace as we continue to learn HIS WORD and HIS WISDOM. The LORD is my PRAISE, my STRENGTH, my FORTRESS, my REFUGE — in days of affliction and at all times.
Tov Shavua — Have a good week!
Day 22 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Sat 5 Sep 2015 - 16:29

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The route to wisdom is humility.

MESSIAH YESHUA, THE ROCK
"All drank the same spiritual drink, for they drank of that spiritual ROCK (Hebrew: T'SUR) that followed them, and that ROCK was CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 10. 4] "The nAME of the YEHOWAH I proclaim; give glory to ELOHEINU! The ROCK! — HIS deeds are perfect. Yes! all HIS ways are just; the faithful EL, never false. True and upright is HE." [Deuteronomy (Devarim) 32. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Torah]

When the children of Israel began their forty year wanderings through the wilderness, GOD OMNIPOTENT commanded Moses to strike the ROCK (T'SUR — "SMITTEN ROCK OF JUDGMENT") so thirst-quenching waters might be miraculously provided. "I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock and water will issue from it, and the people will drink." [Exodus (Shemot) 17. 6 Tanakh, Torah] This SMITTEN ROCK OF JUDGMENT is a beautiful type of MESSIAH YESHUA being smitten once on the cross producing life — giving forth the pure waters of salvation for us.

At the end of the forty years Moses struck the ROCK OF PROVISION in disobedience to ETERNAL GOD'S command simply to "speak to the rock" for its cool refreshing water. "And Moses raised his hand and struck the rock (cela) twice with his rod." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 20. 11 Tanakh, Torah] This ROCK is a type of the risen, ascended ANOINTED SAVIOR WHO is seated at the Throne of Grace. Now, we as believers simply SPEAK to our LOVING MASTER in order to receive our daily, fresh, redeeming grace.

Paul the Apostle, in his letter to the Corinthians, reminds us that the reason they received physical water was that their spiritual ROCK, YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, had been with them supplying their needs from the beginning to the end. How wondrously amazing to know that the ALL-SUFFICIENT ROCK is always with us. The LORD JESUS promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." [1 Corinthians 10. 4]

We begin with the SUFFERING MESSIAH at the Cross, continue with HIM through this life; then, we travel with HIM right into heaven. "Though I walk through the valley of deaths deepest darkness, I fear no harm, for YOU are with me; YOUR ROD and YOUR STAFF — they comfort me." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Our ROCK, YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, is trustworthy and unwavering. "I adore YOU, O LORD, my ROCK (T'SUR — ROCK OF JUDGMENT), my FORTRESS, my RESCUER, my GOD, my ROCK (CELA — ROCK OF PROVISION), my STRENGTH in WHOM I seek refuge and in WHOM I put my trust; my SHIELD, my MIGHTY CHAMPION, the HORN of my salvation, my HAVEN, my HIGH TOWER. I will call upon the LORD WHO is worthy to be praised. I called on the LORD and was delivered from my enemies." [Psalms (Tehillym) 18. 2 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The LORD JESUS, our PERFECT FOUNDATION, the SOLID ROCK, is our GREATEST JOY and our HIGHEST PRAISE.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
O GOD, WHO alone is all good, WHOSE mercies fail not; WHOSE loving-kindnesses never cease, we have all our hope and trust in YOU. We bless YOU, our SALVATION and our HELP, our GOD WHOM thanksgiving and eternal praises are due. We are ever grateful that YOU dwell in us!
Day 20 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A clean conscience makes a soft pillow.

SLICHOT — THINK & PRAY
On this Sabbath of Repentance, O our GOD, open our hearts to its solemn call to turn from the vanities of life and consider our destiny in the light of YOUR ETERNAL TRUTH. Help us to see whether we have indeed hearkened to YOUR VOICE and have done justly, loved mercy and walked humbly before YOU, our MAKER. Or, whether we have been negligent in the fulfillment of our duties and have strayed from the path of moral strength and integrity.

O RIGHTEOUS JUDGE OF THE WORLD, as we survey our life, we are filled with shame that we have fallen short of the purpose for which YOU did send us, and we have failed to use aright the numerous gifts which YOU have given us. Humbly we confess that our intentions and our deeds accuse us before the tribunal of our conscience and convict us in YOUR sight.

O GREAT GOD OF HOLINESS, YOU know that we are but dust and in our weakness we often yield to selfish indulgences. Create in us a pure heart and renew a steadfast spirit within us. Strengthen us in our resolve to mend our ways. Let our struggle with error and sin lead us to a clearer realization of the Truth of YOUR HOLY WORD and to a firmer adherence to YOUR LAW OF RIGHTEOUSNESS. Help us to remove every misunderstanding between ourselves and our fellowmen.

YOU, LORD GOD OF HOSTS alone know when the day shall dawn in which the light of YOUR truth, brighter than that of the visible sun, shall encircle the whole earth. But, surely that great day so fervently prayed for shall come, as surely as none of YOUR LIFE-GIVING WORDS return empty, but shall accomplish that for which YOU did send them. O GOD, YOU are plenteous in mercy and forgiveness, please establish peace and harmony in our souls that we may be truly at one with YOU.

Then joy shall thrill all hearts and from one end of the earth to the other and the gladsome cry shall echo: "Hear, O Israel , hear all mankind, the ETERNAL our GOD, the ETERNAL is ONE." Then myriads will make pilgrimage to YOUR HOUSE which shall be called the "HOUSE OF PRAYER" and from their lips shall sound in spiritual joy: "LORD, open for us the gates of YOUR TRUTH. Selah Lift up your heads, O gates, O you gates! Be lifted up, you everlasting doors! So the KING OF GLORY may come in! WHO is the KING OF GLORY? — the LORD OF HOSTS, mighty and valiant, the LORD, valiant in battle. O gates, lift up your heads! Lift them up, you everlasting doors, so the KING OF GLORY may come in! WHO is the KING OF GLORY? — the LORD OF HOSTS, HE is the KING OF GLORY! Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 24. 7 - 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

May we ever thank YOU, our MAJESTIC LORD GOD, for sending YESHUA ha'MASHIACH to be our only LOVING REDEEMER. And, may we ever revere, glorify and honour YOUR HOLY EXALTED NAME with praise. We humbly bow to CHRIST JESUS OF NAZARETH, our WONDERFUL LORD, SAVIOR & REDEEMER.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcome Sabbath – Queen of the week! Praised are YOU, YEHOWAH, our GOD, SOVEREIGN of the Universe, WHO makes us holy with YOUR mitzvoth and favors us with the Holy Shabbat, lovingly and graciously given to us, a memorial of the act of creation, first of the holy assemblies.
Slichot begins the Saturday night before Rosh ha’Shana. This is a special series of prayers that invoke GOD’S mercy. If Rosh ha’Shana falls at the beginning of the week, then Slichot begins on the Saturday night of the previous week. (Sefardim begin saying Slichot on Rosh Chodesh Elul.)
After the sin of the Golden Calf, Moses asked GOD to explain HIS system for relating with the world. GOD’S answer, known as the 13 Attributes of Mercy forms the essence of the Slichot prayers. The 13 Attributes speak of GOD’S patience. The same God Who created us with a clean slate and a world of opportunity, gives us another opportunity if we’ve misused the first one.
Slichot should be said with a minyan (the quorum of 10 Jewish male adults) — however, if this is not possible, then it should still be said alone, omitting the parts in Aramaic and the 13 Attributes of Mercy.
The most important feature of Elul (the preparation month) is to make a plan for your life because the day will come when each of us will stand before the ALMIGHTY to ask for another year to serve HIM, and we will want to know what it is we are asking for.
Enjoy the peace and harmony of Shabbat!

This Rosh haShana ushers in Shmita, the holy Sabbatical Year in the Land of Israel . Just as the people of Israel rest every week on Shabbat, the Land of Israel will rest for the entire year. "...the seventh year shall be a complete rest for the Land." [Leviticus 25.4]
L'Shanah Tova U'Metukah — We wish you and your families a happy and healthy year — May your name be inscribed in the BOOK OF LIFE!
Day 25 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Thu 3 Sep 2015 - 17:21

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Fear is the father of courage, the grandfather of humility, and the patriarch of prayer.

TENT MAKER
"Speak to the Israelite people and instruct them to make for themselves fringes on the corners of their garments throughout the ages; let them attach a cord of blue to the fringe at each corner. That shall be your fringe; look at it and recall all the commandments of the LORD and observe them, so that you do not follow your heart and eyes in your lustful urge. Thus you shall be reminded to observe all MY commandments and to be holy to your GOD." [Numbers (B'Midvar) 15. 38 - 40 Tanakh, Torah]

Jewish men use the Tallith (prayer shawl) to wrap themselves in during their daily prayers and devotions. This is known as their "tent of prayer." The Tallith and the fringe in each of its four corners is artistically made. The fringe itself has a purpose in every strand, wrapping, and knot. It is made by using eight strands precisely wrapped plus the five knots at various positions to total 613, which is the exact number of commandments in the TORAH. The LORD GOD instructed the Israelite men to look at the fringe (Hebrew: tsitzith) and remember (perform, obey, do, carry out) HIS commandments.

In HIS instructions, OMNIPOTENT GOD also required the children of Israel to "put a cord of blue" in the fringe. This blue cord entwined in the tsitzith (fringe, tassels, hem) is the heavenly colour to remind them of the power and glory of the great GOD OF ISRAEL.

Paul was a tent maker working the same trade as Aquila and his wife Priscilla. [Acts 18. 2 - 3] The occupation of a "tent maker" is that of making of the "Tallith" or "prayer shawls." In Paul's time, people lived in houses, not tents. The Bedouins, however, did live in tents, but they made their own from the animals hides of their own flocks. "Simon the Tanner, whose house was by the sea" was a familiar individual, and he did work with hides, leather and furs. [Acts 10. 6]

Paul tells of his credentials: "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel , of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews" [Philippians 3. 4]; and was schooled concerning the Law, "at the feet of Gamaliel taught according to the strictness of our fathers' Law, and was zealous toward GOD." [Acts 22. 3] Paul added that he spent his youth in Jerusalem , where he lived, "according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee." [Acts 26. 4 - 5] Thus, Paul had fully absorbed all knowledge of the Law, the customs and manners of the Jewish people' thus, he would have legitimate expertise and knowledge for the making of this very special item. The makings of the "tallith" was a specifically gifted talent, as Jewish men were required to wear this particular garment by the ALMIGHTY ONE HIMSELF.

Regarding the Tallith — MESSIAH YESHUA rebuked the religious leaders for "enlarging the borders of their prayer garments (Tallith/Prayer Shawl) to be seen of men." [Matthew 23. 5] "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness." [Matthew 23. 27 - 28]

In fact, CHRISTians today even have reminders to look at and remember GOD'S commandments (plaques, jewelry of crosses, paintings, etc.). Man looks on the outward appearance and judges, but that is not where true righteousness is found. The HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, on the other hand, sees the attitude of the heart and that is what determines the approval or disapproval of the LORD and the individual's final reward! For the KING OF GLORY is our RIGHTEOUSNESS. Therefore, guard your heart and glorify CREATOR GOD by living a life as one who overcomes by the "blood of the LAMB" and by the "word of your testimony." [Revelation 12. 11] May the WORD OF GOD be bound in your hearts and the CONTROLLER of your lives!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
The LORD'S promise to Zion — "As you behold, you will glow; your heart will throb and thrill — for the abundance of the sea shall be turned to you and the riches of nations shall flow to you. Whereas you have been forsaken, rejected and hated, with none passing through, I will make you a pride everlasting, a joy for age after age." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 60. 5, 15 Tanakh, Nevi'im]
Day 18 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Silence is the only successful substitute for brains. [Maurice Samuel]

DOCTRINE OF THE TRINITY
"When the HELPER comes, WHOM I shall send to you from the FATHER, the SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO proceeds from the FATHER, HE will testify of ME." [John 15. 26]

There is only One GOD, yet three PERSONS: GOD THE FATHER, GOD THE SON, GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT — each with HIS own distinct relation to mankind; each equally, fully, and eternally GOD. Although these truths are implicit throughout the NEW COVENANT, the Doctrine of the Trinity is seldom, if ever, presented explicitly as a formal doctrine.

Many times SUPREME CREATOR called HIMSELF "the GOD of Abraham, the GOD of Isaac, and the GOD of Jacob." HE seemed to love to reveal HIMSELF through this NAME, and this is the revelation of the FATHER, SON and HOLY SPIRIT. Abram means "the exalted father" who became Abraham, "the father of a multitude." Isaac means "laughter" — he was the promised son, the joy of his exalted father, Abram. Jacob is known as the "heel grabber or supplanter" — the one who became Israel — "a prince with GOD" and this speaks of the work of the HOLY SPIRIT.

There are several passages in the NEW COVENANT where all THREE PERSONS of the GOD-head are mentioned in the same context, and each one deals with a significant aspect of the CHRISTian life. First, is the provision of salvation, "the blood of CHRIST, WHO through the ETERNAL SPIRIT offered HIMSELF without spot to GOD." [Hebrews 9. 14]

Regeneration follows salvation. "And because you are sons, GOD has sent forth the SPIRIT of HIS SON into your hearts, crying — ABBA FATHER." [Galatians 4. 6] Salvation and regeneration are then publicly testified in baptism "in the name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the HOLY SPIRIT." [Matthew 28. 19]

The believer's prominent resource is prayer and this also involves all THREE PERSONS. "For through MESSIAH we both have access by one SPIRIT unto the FATHER." [Ephesians 2. 18] The believer must also continue to learn of MESSIAH YESHUA, and to bear witness of HIM. "The HOLY SPIRIT, WHOM the FATHER will send in MY NAME (YESHUA), HE shall teach you all things. The SPIRIT OF TRUTH, which proceeds from the FATHER, HE shall testify of ME; and you also shall bear witness because you have been with ME from the beginning." [John 14. 26 - 27]

We have eternal assurance in TRIUNE GOD’S promise: "The grace of the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA and the love of GOD, and the communion of the HOLY SPIRIT be with you all. Amen!" [2 Corinthians 13. 14] All power, praise, honor and glory to the THREE-IN-ONE!

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Psalms/Tehillym 83.1-5 says — GOD, do not be silent; do not be distant; do not be quiet, O GOD! For YOUR enemies rage, those who hate YOU exalt themselves. They plot craftily against YOUR people, take counsel against YOUR treasured ones. They say — Let us wipe them out as a nation; Israel 's name will be mentioned no more. — Yet we are confident that, HE WHO keeps Israel neither slumbers or sleeps! Truly, there is none like YOU, O LORD GOD. YOU are glorious in holiness, revered in worship, wondrous in all YOUR works! There is none like YOU, infinite is YOUR power, so is YOUR love.
Day 19 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
GOD does not have to overturn the laws of nature or create something that never before existed. On the contrary, miracles are part of God's architectural plan. On the sixth day, as God was about to complete His creation, He added supernatural events, making miracles part of nature. Nature itself is a miracle in which God's hand is constantly manifest.

PITCH YOUR STANDARD
"The Israelites shall camp each with his standard, under the banners of their father's house; they shall camp around the Tabernacle of Meeting at a distance." [Numbers (B’Midvar) 2. 2 Tanakh, Torah]

The use of flags, standards, or ensigns to represent nations or other groups is first referenced here in connection with the standards that were pitched by the camp of each of the twelve tribes of Israel during their time of marching through the wilderness. [Numbers/B’Midvar 1. 52 – 2. 34]

On the east side was the standard of the forces of Judah, Issachar and Zebulun — the Lion (KING) — this camp was first to go forth.
The second standard — the Man (SON OF MAN) — was on the south side of the Tabernacle which included Reuben, Simeon, Gad.
On the west the standard was the camps of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Benjamin — the Ox (SERVANT).
And, the north standard — the Eagle (SON OF GOD) — was the tribes of Dan, Asher and Naphtali. The whole company of the Levites was in the midst of the camps; as they camp, so they moved out everyone in his place by their standards.

Those who follow YESHUA also have a standard to live under — that STANDARD (BANNER OF LOVE) over us is the very character of the ONE WHO is the "captain of their salvation." [Hebrews 2. 10] HIS GUIDE BOOK for us is the WRITTEN WORD OF GOD, which is crucially essential information "so that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before." [Joshua/Yehoshua 3. 4] It persuades us to "endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier." [2 Timothy 2. 3 - 4] Through faith and a good conscience you can wage the good warfare and fight the good fight of faith.

As faithful followers of the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH, our GREAT STANDARD BEARER, we must continually seek to "know the mind of the Lord" [1 Corinthians 2. 16], that HE may instruct us, and to keep ourselves pure "just as HE is pure." [1 John 3. 3] And, in all things remember that HE "suffered for us, leaving us an example, that you should follow HIS steps." [1 Peter 2. 21]

With GOD WHO shows mercy, our goal is to be able to someday say, as Paul could say, "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved HIS appearing." [2 Timothy 4. 7 - 8] Peter, as well, reminds us that "when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away." [1 Peter 5. 4]

We are partakers of YESHUA, if we hold onto HIM, the ONE WHO is the beginning of our confidence (faithfulness, certainty) and remain steadfast to HIM to the end. Our need is to love the EVER-LIVING LORD GOD with all our heart and follow HIS commands, and set our standards according to HIS perfect will. To GOD, the ETERNAL ONE be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We thank YOU, Great & MIGHTY GOD for by YOUR mercies and grace to us. Keep us ever grateful and grant us YOUR perfect rest, guidance, and wisdom in this world is our prayer, Amen
May God, Whose grace is irresistible and all sufficient, be glorified.
This is the 17th Day of Repentance.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The Jew is the emblem of eternity. He whom neither slaughter nor torture over thousands of years could destroy...he who was the first to produce the oracles of GOD, he who has been for so long the guardian of prophecy, and transmitted it to the rest of the world — such a nation cannot be destroyed. The Jew is everlasting as eternity itself. [-Leo Tolstoy]

ONE BODY IN MESSIAH
"For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is MESSIAH YESHUA. For by one SPIRIT we were all baptized into one body — whether Jew or Gentile, whether slaves or free — and have all been made to drink into one SPIRIT." [1 Corinthians 12. 12 - 13]

"For you are all sons of GOD through faith in YESHUA. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in MESSIAH YESHUA." [Galatians 3. 26, 28]

The statement "there is neither Jew nor Greek...neither male nor female...all are one in JESUS" relates back to Faith and indicates that all races, classes, and both sexes are equal in rights and privileges relative to gospel benefits, that ALMIGHTY HEAVENLY FATHER does not recognize one above the other — all are one body in YESHUA ha'MASHIACH.

However, this same verse does tell that within the body of MESSIAH there is both Jew and Gentile, master and slave, male and female. One does not change his ancestry, descent, position in life, or sex by receiving the MESSIAH into their heart. Nothing can divest a Jew of his physical identity.

One who is not Jewish who has accepted the LORD JESUS, remains a Gentile but now a believer. A Jew, accepting the LORD YESHUA, remains a Jew but now a believer. Both Jew and Gentile keep their earthly distinctions even as bond and free, male and female keep theirs. Their unity is in the SPIRIT — they are one in MESSIAH the KING by Faith.

"For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the SPIRIT, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from GOD." [Romans 2. 28 - 29]

This passage is found in a Jewish Context in the book of Romans. Paul was not speaking to the Gentiles here but to Jews who were trusting in the fact that they were Jews, "Indeed you are called a Jew, and rest on the Law, and make your boast in GOD." [Romans 2. 17] Here, Paul is describing the True Jew who is one not only outwardly, but inwardly. Paul does not boast in his religion or the fact he is a Jew — there is no pride of race or grace in MESSIAH YESHUA — but he counts all that as loss and his trust now is in the Lord Jesus as we find in the words of Paul again:

"For we are the circumcision, who worship GOD in the spirit, rejoice in CHRIST JESUS, and have no CONFIDENCE IN THE flesh, though I also might have confidence in the flesh. If anyone else thinks he may have confidence in the flesh, I more so." Then Paul explains what it is about the "flesh" in which he could trust: "Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of the Hebrews; concerning the Law, a Pharisee; concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the Law, blameless."

Now Paul is counting as unnecessary and vain all those things of the flesh in which he could have trusted: "But what things were gain to me, these I have counted loss for CHRIST (MESSIAH YESHUA). Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of CHRIST JESUS my LORD, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain CHRIST and be found in HIM, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from GOD by faith." [Philippians 3. 3 - 9] Thus, our spiritual duties must be our own hearts actions, not boasting in our human bloodline, but in the BELOVED MESSIAH alone.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
As Sabbath comes to a close, our prayer is that GOD, WHO'S PRESENCE dwells within us, bless you abundantly. May peace abundant descend from heaven with life for us and to all Israel , Amen
Watch and pray, the LORD Messiah YESHUA is coming soon to set up HIS Kingdom. The descendants of HIS servants shall inherit it, and those who love HIS NAME shall dwell in it. The LORD will be a SHELTER for HIS people, and the STRENGTH of the children of Israel , and they shall all know HIM.
May some of Sabbath’s sweetness go with you throughout the coming week.
Day 15 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Opportunity may knock once, but temptation bangs on your front door forever.

SAVED FROM FIRE
"From the depths of Sheol the mightiest of warriors speak to him and his allies; the uncircumcised, the slain by the sword, have gone down and lie there — they made a bed for her among the slain, with all her masses; their graves are round about her. They are all uncircumcised, slain by the sword. Though their terror was once spread over the land of the living, they bear their shame with those who have gone into the Pit; they are placed among the slain." [Ezekiel (Yehezke-El) 32. 21, 25 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

It is a tragic mistake to ignore the subject of Hell, Sheol, the Pit, Hades — all the names of the literal place for punishment of the wicked. Isaiah gives us a striking explicit picture of those in earlier ages who are now in Hades, awaiting the final judgment. Religion, in itself with its complex concepts and rituals, will not keep one from hell where "the corpses of the men who rebelled against ME: Their worms shall not die, nor their fire be quenched; they shall be a horror to all flesh." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 66. 24 Tanakh, Nevi’im; also see Mark 9. 43 - 48]

Having a religion or form of righteousness, will never save a person. Paul spoke of those who have a form of religion that does not save: "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people TURN AWAY! For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Jannes and Jambres resisted Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, disapproved concerning the faith; but they will progress no further, for their folly will be manifest to all, as theirs also was." [2 Timothy 3. 1 - 9]

"Although they knew God, they did not glorify HIM as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Professing to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the incorruptible GoD into an image made like corruptible man…and birds and four-footed animals and creeping things. Therefore GOD also gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonor their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of GOD for the lie, and worshiped and served the creature rather than the CREATOR." [Romans 1. 21 - 25]

We are admonished, "If you refrained from rescuing those taken off to death, those condemned to slaughter — if you say — We knew nothing of it — surely HE WHO fathoms hearts will discern the truth, HE WHO watches over your life will know it, and HE will pay each man as he deserves." [Proverbs (Mishle) 24. 11 – 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Also, "keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our LORD JESUS CHRIST unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh." [Jude 21 - 23]

The LorD YESHUA warned "Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. BEWARE of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves. You will know them by their fruits." [Matthew 7. 13 - 15] Only those who worship the CREATOR, the TRUE & LIVING GOD, who receive the LORD MessiaH YESHUA as their personal SavioR from sin, will be saved. Believe and accept HIS free gift of salvation with seeing hearts, hearing souls, and obedient lives.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May our bearing toward our neighbors, our faithfulness in every sphere of duty, our compassion for the suffering and our patience under trial show that HE WHOSE Law we obey is indeed the MIGHTY GOD of all goodness, the FATHER of all men, that to serve HIM is perfect freedom and to worship HIM the soul's purest happiness.
Day 16 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Sat 29 Aug 2015 - 21:40

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Being in the hands of ALMIGHTY GOD is the best way to ensure blessings from Above by being guided by the wisdom of the TORAH.

WHATEVER HE PLEASES
"Our GOD is in Heaven; and all that HE wills HE accomplishes." [Psalms (Tehillym) 115. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Often, we question the CREATOR’S actions, but HE is never obligated to explain to us HIS reasons. It is enough to know that it pleases HIM, for whatever HE does is right and for our best and HIS glory.

If one were to ask why GOD created the universe, we simply and correct answer that it was for HIS "pleasure they were and are created!" [Revelation 4. 11] "Whatever the LORD desires HE does in heaven and in earth, in the seas and all depths." [Psalms (Tehillym) 135. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] We also were created for HIS pleasure, therefore HE does not have to give account to us for HIS actions; and assuredly, HE does all things well.

You may ask, why HE allowed HIS ONLY-BEGOTTEN SON to suffer and die on the cross. The answer is found in HOLY SCRIPTURE, for although "HE had done no violence, nor was any deceit in HIS mouth. Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise HIM" and "to make HIS soul an offering for sin" knowing that ultimately "the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in HIS hand." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 53. 9 - 10 Tanakh, Nevi’im]

We may never be able to understand why LORD GOD, the ALL-POWERFUL SOVEREIGN CREATOR did this, especially for sinners such as you and I, but we don’t have to understand. "It pleased GOD through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe." [1 Corinthians 1. 21] Take note, the Text clearly established that it is for those who BELIEVE, not to them that understand.

Yehowah, the SELF-EXISTING ONE WHO has perfect reasons for everything HE does, and we shall understand it all in eternity. "We know that when HE is revealed, we shall be like HIM, for we shall see HIM as HE is." [1 John 3. 2]

Meanwhile, along with Paul the Apostle, we are to always be thankful that "it pleased GOD, WHO separated me from my mother's womb and called me through HIS grace, to reveal HIS SON in me." [Galatians 1. 15 - 16] In the same way, HE has, beyond my comprehension, "predestined us to adoption as sons by JESUS CHRIST to HIMSELF, according to the good pleasure of HIS will, to the praise of the glory of HIS grace, by which HE made us accepted in the BELOVED." [Ephesians 1. 5 – 6]

So for the time being, it is enough for us, HIS people, to be like our TEACHER — and as HIS servant, to be like our MASTER [Matthew 10. 25], confidently standing fast in HIS perfect plan.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Welcome Sabbath! May yours be a Yom She’kulo Shabbat (a day which is all Sabbath).
Praise to ALMIGHTY CREATOR GOD! We praise and bless you O GOD for lovingly and graciously giving YOUR Holy Shabbat, the imagery of beauty and radiance testifying to the tremendous affection that the Sabbath is enjoyed among YOUR people in YOUR presence.
Day 14 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Fri 28 Aug 2015 - 20:08

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
A miracle cannot prove what is impossible; it is helpful only as confirmation of what is possible with CREATOR GOD.

PATHS OF THE LORD
"All the LORD'S paths are mercy, steadfast love and truth for those who keep the decrees of HIS Covenant and HIS Testimonies." [Psalms (Tehillym) 25. 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

One of the great promises in HOLY SCRIPTURE is that ALMIGHTY GOD will lead those who obediently follow HIS will and honour HIS BLESSED WORD. "In all your ways acknowledge HIM and HE will direct your paths and make them smooth." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

These paths have experienced the mercy of our LOVING CREATOR and confirm HIS truth, if we obey HIS WORD — that is, if we keep HIS Covenant of Grace and believe the promise of HIS Testimonies. They are paths leading to life eternal. "YOU will teach me the path of life. In YOUR presence is perfect joy; delights are ever in YOUR right hand." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The paths which the ALL-WISE MASTER directs us to may seem unusual, dark, discouraging or dangerous, but we have HIS promises that they lead to joy and peace and HIS great light. "The path of the righteous is like the radiant sunlight, ever brightening until noon." [Proverbs (Mishle) 4. 18 Tanakh, Kethuvim] The pathway leads to true wisdom of the HOLY ONE which offers "pleasant ways, and all her paths, peaceful." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE guides me in the paths of righteousness as befits HIS NAME." [Psalms (Tehillym) 23. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The paths may be by still waters or through valleys of deepest darkness, but GOD'S goodness and mercy follows us in these paths, and finally leads us Home to be forever with the LORD.

When troubles come our way, if we have difficulty discerning the right path to follow, still OMNIPOTENT LORD GOD is directing our every step, we can find guidance in HIS PRECIOUS HOLY WORD, for "YOUR WORD is a LAMP to my feet, a LIGHT for my path." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 115 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

In bold confidence and assurance, we are always able to pray, "Lead me in the path of YOUR commandments; for that is my concern and my delight." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 35 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Show me YOUR way, O LORD, and lead me on a path, because of my watchful foes." [Psalms (Tehillym) 27. 11 Tanakh, Kethuvim] All who seek HIM early and love HIS Eternal Law are definitely rich, extremely blessed, and will have a fullness of indescribable joy.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
I will worship and praise YOU, my GOD, O KING; and I will bless YOUR NAME forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised; and HIS greatness is unsearchable.
Day 13 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Thu 27 Aug 2015 - 21:44

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Intelligence makes a great first impression.

A FAITHFUL PROVERB
"This is a faithful saying: For if we died with Him, we shall also live with HIM. If we endure, we shall also reign with HIM. If we deny HIM, HE also will deny us. If we are faithless, HE remains faithful; HE cannot deny HIMSELF." [2+Timothy 2. 11 - 13]

How often we find the phrase "if, then, will, shall" showing the choice is always ours. If we be dead with CHRIST JESUS, then we shall also live with HIM, "And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, HE has made alive together with HIM, having forgiven you all trespasses." [Colossians 2. 13] Our FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST has made atonement for us, and we shall be forgiven for all the things that we have done in which we have trespassed. "The priest shall make expiation on his behalf before the LORD, and he shall be forgiven for whatever he may have done to draw blame thereby." [Leviticus (Vayikra) 5. 26 Tanakh, Torah- Leviticus 6:7 KJV]

If we are willing to endure suffering, then we will also reign with our LORD — "Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears MY voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with ME. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with ME on MY throne, as I also overcame and sat down with MY FATHER on HIS Throne." [Revelation 3. 20 - 21] "If anyone loves ME, he will keep MY WORD; and MY FATHER will love him, and WE will come to him and make OUR home with him." [John 14. 23]

If we deny the LorD YESHUA, HE will also deny us — "Therefore whoever confesses ME before men, him I will also confess before MY FATHER WHO is in heaven. But whoever denies ME before men, him I will also deny before MY FATHER WHO is in heaven." [Matthew 10. 32 - 33] "He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the BOOK OF LIFE; but I will confess his name before MY FATHER and before HIS angels." [Revelation 3. 5]

And, if we are treacherously unfaithful or do not believe, KING YESHUA remains faithful still. HIS promises are sure whether they be warnings of judgments or promises of blessings. The SOVEREIGN OF THE UNIVERSE promised Joshua: "No one shall be able to resist you as long as you live. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you. Be strong and of good courage, for you shall apportion to this people the land that I swore to their fathers to assign to them. But you must be very strong and courageous to observe faithfully all the Law and Teachings that MY servant Moses commanded you. Do not deviate from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful and prosper wherever you go." [Joshua (Yehoshua) 1. 5 - 7 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Because of GOD'S faithfulness, we can be sure that HIS sayings are faithful and HE cannot deny HIMSELF. Our GREAT & MIGHTY GOD is loving, faithful. and true! May we continually bow down and worship HIM!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
MOST HOLY ONE, YOU are blessed beyond all hymns, praises and consolations that may be uttered in this world. My soul desires YOU in the night. Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek YOU early; for when YOUR judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness. Therefore, in the shadow of YOUR wings I will rejoice. HalleluYAH! Amen!
Day 12 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Wed 26 Aug 2015 - 21:54

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The key to the treasures of the ETERNAL ONE is reverence.

FOREVER ENDURES
"The LORD abides (endures) forever." [Psalms (Tehillym) 9. 7 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

This world and the heavens are going to all pass away completely as everything decays and dies — "they will perish…grow old like a garment." [Hebrews 1. 11] But GOD, the ALMIGHTY CREATOR, is eternal! "May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in HIS works." [Psalms (Tehillym) 104. 31 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The great name of the KING OF GLORY will never change. "May HIS NAME be eternal; while the sun lasts, may HIS NAME endure. Men shall be blessed in HIM; all nations shall call HIM blessed." [Psalms (Tehillym) 72. 17 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Likewise, HIS righteousness and character is everlasting, "Wealth and riches are in HIS House, and HIS righteousness lasts forever. HE is gracious, compassionate, generous and righteous." [Psalms (Tehillym) 112. 3 - 4 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Psalms 136 declares the MIGHTY ONE'S ever-enduring mercies and concludes with wonderful assurances and promises. [Psalms (Tehillym) 136. 26 Tanakh, Kethuvim] Since the HOLY ONE'S perfect righteousness and everlasting great mercy will last forever, we should continually thank and praise HIM with every breath in our being. "O, give thanks and praise to the GOD OF HEAVEN! HIS mercy and steadfast love is forever."

The wondrous, life-giving WORD OF GOD will also endure. This is confirmed in both OLD & NEW COVENANTS — "The LORD exists forever; YOUR WORD stands firm in heaven. YOUR faithfulness is for all generations; YOU have established the earth, and it stands." [Psalms (Tehillym) 119. 89 - 90 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of the grass. The grass withers, and its flower falls away, but the WORD OF THE LORD endures forever." [1 Peter 1. 24 - 25]

GOD'S love, so rich and pure, will always endure, eternity will be filled with HIS great love. "For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of GOD which is in CHRIST JESUS our LORD." [Romans 8. 38 - 39]

We know for certainty that we shall also live forever, because the HOLY ONE is forever. "His (David's) seed shall continue forever, his throne, as the sun before ME; as the moon, established forever, an enduring witness in the sky. Selah" [Psalms (Tehillym) 89. 36 - 37 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "The world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of GOD abides forever." [1 John 2. 17] O the riches we, who serve the LORD OF GLORY, have in abundance awaiting us; and the great joy in serving and loving HIM even now.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Return to the HOLY ONE OF JACOB. In returning to HIM you will find rest and be saved and receive quietness, confidence and strength. So, let us celebrate the ties of love and faith that bind us in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH, the GREAT GOD of our salvation.
Day 11 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

As easy as it may appear, the path of least resistance may be the very one to avoid.

REDEEMING THE TIME
"There remains therefore a rest to the people of GOD." [Hebrews 4. 9]

For those who labor, this has been a long time favorite verse. We grow tired of work, and weary even in the LORD'S work. . . but we continue on in faithful stewardship for the needs are so great in harvesting souls that we dare not stop. Thus praying — "Teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom." [Psalms (Tehillym) 90. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "Oh, that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!" [Deuteronomy/Devarim 32. 29]

The LORD GOD knew HIS people would need rest, so HE ordained a weekly day of rest, Sabbath. In fact, the only reason HE took six days to do the work of creation was to set the proper pattern for man's six-day work week. [Exodus/Shemot 20. 8 - 11] MESSIAH YESHUA, the LORD OF GLORY, indicated that it is still "lawful to do well on Sabbath days" [Matthew 12. 12]; and the SCRIPTURES command us to always "walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time." [Colossians 4. 5] And to "walk circumspectly (carefully, watchfully), not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil." [Ephesians 5. 15 - 16]

The word for "rest" is actually the special word for Sabbath rest (Shabbath-Shabbathown). The new covenant indicates that the weekly rest day, like all the others in the Ten Commandments, is still a DIVINE principle in the CHRISTian dispensation, and violating it is to our detriment. It also refers, in context, to the rest we find in the LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH. "For he that is entered into HIS rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as GOD did from HIS." [Hebrews 4. 10]

There is a most comforting application for our future life — "Blessed are the dead that die in the LORD from now on: Yes! says the SPIRIT, that they may rest from their labors; and their works follow them." [Revelation 14. 13] But for now, even when it is hard to find time for physical rest, we find perfect peaceful rest for our souls in the LORD JESUS CHRIST. Without a doubt, HE is our PERFECT PEACE & REST.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Have a peaceful, enriching day in which you find favor of the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL, and with an objective to bless others. May your life be blessed with grace and peace through YESHUA THE ANOINTED ONE. Amen
This is the 10th Day of Repentance.

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human, and enough hope to make you happy.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Smart is when you believe only half of what you hear. Brilliant is when you know which half to believe.

SIN & CONFESSION
"All unrighteousness is sin." [1 John 5. 17]

People come up with different definitions as to what sin is, and the most common definition is "missing the mark" or a "failure to live up to an expected standard." However, this definition fails to take into account that when the mark is missed, something is hit.

The Apostle John simply defined sin as "lawlessness" and strongly advises believers not to do such things. John then goes on to inform us what we are to do if we do sin. "My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the FATHER, JESUS CHRIST THE RIGHTEOUS. And HE HIMSELF is the PROPITIATION for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. Now by this we know that we know HIM, if we keep HIS commandments." [1 John 2. 1 - 3]

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." [1 John 1. 8] "If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His worD is not in us." [1 John 1. 10] Sin is a choice, we have the potential to obey or disobey. And it is possible for a believer to loose his rewards. "Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we worked for, but that we may receive a full reward. Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of CHRIST does not have GOD." [2 John 1. 8 - 9] "Are you so foolish? Having begun in the SPIRIT, are you now being made perfect by the flesh? Have you suffered so many things in vain?" [Galatians 3. 3 - 4] "Whoever endures TO THE END shall be saved." [Matthew 10. 22; 24. 13]

"Whoever abides in HIM does not sin." [1 John 3. 6] Do not play games with your soul. Don't be deceived by your own emotions, images or ideas of what you think the ETERNAL LORD GOD means — Read what HE says; Accept what HE commands; then Prepare yourself to know HIM personally and fully (trust and obey). "Awake to righteousness, and do not sin." [1 Corinthians 15. 34]

"If we walk in the light as HE is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of JESUS CHRIST HIS SON cleanses us from all sin. If we confess our sins, HE is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." [1 John 1. 7, 9] Hold on to the ENDURING ONE, HE is faithful to save.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Most blessed are YOU, O GOD, YOU are hidden from the eyes of all the living and are beyond the comprehension of all creatures. The mind of genius cannot comprehend more than a broken fragment of YOUR glory. The tongues of poets and sages falter as they seek to express YOUR incomparable wisdom and splendor. Yet though YOUR greatness surpasses our understanding, we feel YOUR nearness and are overcome with wonder and with awe as we behold the signs of YOUR soon-coming.
May the grace of our LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH be with your spirit as you prepare to stand before the WONDROUS KING.
Day 9 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem, is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

Re: Delrifkah: HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY.

Post  Admin on Sun 23 Aug 2015 - 23:23

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Light travels faster than sound; that is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

NO OTHER FOUNDATION
"For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is JESUS CHRIST." [1 Corinthians 3. 11]

The LORD YESHUA ha’MASHIACH is the only sure and lasting foundation. This is a true fact either for the CHRISTian organization or for the individual follower of the GIVER OF LIFE. There is no other foundation that will or can endure in the days ahead when "each one's work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one's work, of what sort it is. If anyone's work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. If anyone's work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." [1 Corinthians 3. 13 - 15]

Therefore it is vital to build on the FOUNDATION that YESHUA HIMSELF has laid. This is laid in three lessons, each of which is essential for its stability.
First: It is crucially imperative that we acknowledge and confess that "of old YOU laid the foundation of the earth; the heavens are the work of YOUR hands...They will perish, but YOU remain; and they will all wear out like a garment; like a cloak YOU change them, and they will be changed. But YOU are the same, and YOUR years never end." [Psalms (Tehillym) 102. 25 Tanakh, Kethuvim; Hebrews 1. 10 - 12] GOD is the MASTER CREATOR of all things, and LORD over all. EL is YEHOWAH!

Second: We must recognize and admit that we have been redeemed "with the precious blood of CHRIST" and that "HE indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world!" [1 Peter 1. 19 - 20] "When the fullness of the time had come, GOD sent forth HIS SON, born of a woman, born under the Law, to redeem those who were under the Law, that we might receive the adoption as sons." [Galatians 4. 4 - 5]

Third: There is the WORD OF GOD, which is foundational to everything beyond creation and redemption. "Be doers of the WORD, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves." [James 1. 22] "Whoever comes to ME, and hears MY sayings and DOES them, I will show you whom he is like: He is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently against that house, and could not shake it, for it was FOUNDED ON THE ROCK." [Luke 5. 47 - 48]

The LORD YESHUA is the TRUE FOUNDATION, for HE HIMSELF laid every SURE FOUNDATION. HE created all things, HIS precious shed blood is the price to redeem all things, and HIS HOLY LIFE-GIVING WORD, by HIS HOLY SPIRIT, reveals all things needed to build a beautiful, fruitful CHRIST-like life of ministry. "Having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF being the CHIEF CORNERSTONE, in WHOM the whole building, being fitted together, grows into a Holy Temple in the LORD." [Ephesians 2. 20 - 21]

There is no other foundation that can or will last, and "if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?" [Psalms (Tehillym) 11. 3 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "O HOPE of Israel ! O LORD! All who forsake YOU shall be put to shame, Those in the land who turn from YOU shall be doomed men, inscribed in the earth, for they have forsaken the LORD, the FOUNTAIN of Living Waters." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 17. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Even now, put your trust in the LORD JESUS, HE is the "EXCLUSIVE HOPE" of Israel and the nations.

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
We bid farewell to Sabbath by sing the song in the Havdallah ritual that states, “the Prophet Elijah, the Tishbite from Gilead , may he come to us soon with the SON OF DAVID, the MESSIAH” — the GREATEST ONE that we fix our gaze on. We also pray that GOD, WHO separates the holy from the secular, forgive our sins, guide our life and open our mouth to declare HIS praises continually. Unto YOU alone, O LORD GOD do we turn; for YOU alone abide deep in the solitude of our hearts. May we ever trust in YOU, HEAVENLY FATHER, and be unafraid in the face of the inscrutable (unfathomable, immeasurable, unknowable, unimaginable) years ahead, and see that everything happens for the best. Because of YOU LORD, there is perfect peace in our hearts at the nearness of YOU.
Have a joyous week!
Day 8 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Sat 22 Aug 2015 - 23:14

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
To prevent irritating others, be as vague as possible, but do it with enthusiasm.

GLORIFIED VISION
"In the midst of the seven lamp-stands ONE like the SON OF MAN, clothed with a garment down to the feet and girded about the chest with a golden band." [Revelation 1. 13]

This is a sanctuary scene, a priestly scene, as viewed in the OLD COVENANT Tabernacle and Temple . The ANCIENT OF DAYS is seen inspecting the Church (HIS people) just as Aaron inspected the candlestick in the Holy Place — noticing the oil supply, the condition of the wicks, and snuffing the carbon, if necessary, so the lights would burn bright. The lamp-stands represent testimony — "You are the light of the world" and "judgment begins at the HOUSE OF GOD" — so MESSIAH YESHUA trims and refines HIS Church into perfection.

"Clothed with garments down to HIS feet" symbolizes dignity and honor. The LORD JESUS, in a priestly robe, is a Priest; a royal garment, a King; in a judicial attire, a Judge (Prophet). This robe is made of linen which represents righteousness (to be holy). The Holy Garments of linen are the mitre (head-dress, turban), broidered coat, girdle and the breeches. Symbolically, they are worn to show: the Mitre — holiness of thought; Broidered Coat — holiness of heart; Girdle — holiness of service; Breeches — holiness of flesh.

The robe was seamless indicating no beginning and no ending. The hem of the blue (heavens color) robe had alternating bells and pomegranates. Pomegranates with their multitude of seed indicating fruitfulness. The bell, which is gold, has a tongue in it. Gold for DIVINE, a tongue for telling the testimony. The bells ring clearly because of the pomegranate between each bell. Our LORD JESUS wore the fruit and bells spiritually all around the hem of HIS seamless garment as HE walked upon the earth. HE had a clear ringing testimony which was backed up by the fruit of HIS life.

The JEWISH TALMUD proclaims: "The Bells said to the fruit-bearing Trees — Why do you not make any noise? — The Trees reply — Our fruits are sufficient advertisement for us."

"The Golden Belt around HIS breast" speaks of HIS righteousness; the gold, HIS Divine Glory. As the RIGHTEOUS JUDGE, YESHUA will usher in the "Day of Vengeance." [Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 4] Because HE is the SON OF MAN, HE will judge all humanity. "For as the FATHER has life in HIMSELF, so HE has granted the SON to have life in HIMSELF, and has given HIM authority to execute judgment also, because HE is the SON OF MAN." [John 5. 26 - 27]

"HIS head and HIS hair were white like wool, as white as snow, and HIS eyes like a flame of fire." [Revelation 1. 14] "HIS head and hairs, white as wool" illustrates JESUS' fatherhood and patriarchal dignity and wisdom as the ANCIENT of DAYS. The LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH is all this! In HIM is all the full divine perfections of GOD'S nature embodied. In HIM is all the hidden treasure of divine wisdom and spiritual illumination.

"Eyes as a flame of fire" shows intelligence - burning, all penetrating intelligence. . . power to read secrets, to bring hidden things to light, to warm and search all hearts at a single glance. Nothing is hidden from HIM WHO is OMNISCIENT GOD.

"HIS feet were like fine copper, as if refined in a furnace, and HIS voice as the sound of many waters." [Revelation 1. 15] "HIS feet were like burning copper refined in a furnace." Copper represents judgment. "I will glorify the place where MY feet rest." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 60. 13 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "HIS feet shall tread down HIS enemies; they shall tread the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of ALMIGHTY GOD." [Revelation 19. 15; Isaiah/Yeshayah 63. 1 - 6]

"Voice as the sound of many waters" show that HE is powerful, yet altogether lovely. "See that you do not refuse HIM WHO speaks, for if they did not escape WHO refused HIM WHO spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from HIM WHO speaks from heaven WHOSE VOICE then shook the earth." [Hebrews 12. 25; Jeremiah/Yirmeyah 25. 30-31; Psalms/Tehillym 29]

"HE had in HIS right hand seven stars, out of HIS mouth went a sharp two-edged sword, and HIS countenance was like the sun shining in its strength." [Revelation 1. 16] "In HIS right hand seven stars" — here the LORD JESUS is seen upholding and sustaining the ministry of HIS Church. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 10] "Out of HIS mouth...a sharp Two-Edged Sword" this is HIS OWN WORD, the LIVING, ACTIVE, POWERFUL WORD OF GOD, by which HE shall judge the Church. [Hebrew 4. 1 2] "HIS countenance as the sun shines in HIS strength." MESSIAH YESHUA is the GREAT CREATIVE SOURCE from which all light comes. HE is the "SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS." [Malachi/Malakhi 4. 2] JESUS is "the LIGHT of the Eternal City." [Revelation 21. 23; 22. 5]

"And when I saw HIM, I fell at HIS feet as dead. But HE laid HIS right hand on me saying to me — Do not be afraid; I am the FIRST and the LAST." [Revelation 1. 17] Here the glory of MESSIAH'S presence is too great — words cannot describe HIM — HE is so overwhelming to see, John is completely prostrated as though dead. But, John is reassured by the words of the LORD — Fear Not! John's fears and ours are forever gone when we realize MESSIAH YESHUA'S three-fold revelation of HIMSELF: "I am HE WHO lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death." [Revelation 1. 18] "I am the FIRST and LAST" — now MESSIAH shows HIS deity. [Isaiah/Yeshayah 41. 4; 48. 12; Revelation 22. 13] "I am HE WHO lives and was dead, and behold, I AM ALIVE FOREVERMORE." [Revelation 1. 18] The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the LIVING ONE WHO tasted death on our behalf, Who was victorious over all and came forth CONQUEROR & GLORIOUS KING.

"I have the keys of death and hell." The LORD JESUS holds the keys (authority, power over) of hell. [Revelation 1. 18] JESUS, the KING ETERNAL, opens and none can shut, HE shuts and none can open. While death still holds the bodies of the Saints temporarily, their spirits are no longer in Hades, but in the heavenlies with JESUS CHRIST THE LORD. The gates of hell cannot prevail against the Church in the LORD YESHUA ha'MASHIACH. Hallelu'YAH!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel!
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Good Sabbath! Come my dear friend to meet the Bride, the Sabbath presence, let us welcome! Those who keep the Sabbath and call it a delight shall rejoice in GOD'S Kingdom.
We give thanks and praise to the LORD GOD our GUARDIAN & REDEEMER. May the love of your HOLY NAME and YOUR Law be rooted deep in our soul and quicken every heart to draw nearer to YOU. May our knowledge of YOU rise like the morning dawn as our longings and aspirations reach out toward a higher goal. May our faith be unshaken and our heart undismayed as we labor and wait for the fulfillment of YOUR prophets of old. And, may YOUR Law be established in the hearts of men and that YOUR children unite in peace and love to serve YOU, our FATHER, the ALMIGHTY AWESOME GOD. Amen!

Shabbat: One day a week we unplug from the incessant noise and hard work of ‘doing’ to refocus on just ‘being.’ Shabbat brings an inner peace within oneself, and provides a weekly opportunity to connect and relate to family, friends and GOD. Jewish life is built around the family coming together – to eat, to learn, to celebrate, to mourn, and most importantly to transmit the torch of our shared heritage to the next generation. Judaism nurtures the awareness that GOD is actively involved in everything. There are no accidents; everything that happens to us is purposeful and for the best. We can feel secure knowing that we are wrapped in GOD’S loving embrace.
Day 7 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Fri 21 Aug 2015 - 22:01

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Keep three things in mind that you may escape the results of evil: Know where you came from, where you are going, and before Whom you will have to give a full account.

MOMENTS
"For a little while I forsook you; but with great mercies and vast love I will bring you back. In a little wrath, for a moment, I hid MY face from you; but with kindness everlasting I will have mercy on you and take you back in love, says the LORD your REDEEMER." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 54. 7 - 8 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

This compassionately gracious promise to Israel gives a praiseworthy insight into the character of the LORD GOD as well as the relation of time-to-eternity. The DIVINE LOVING OMNISCIENT CREATOR is also a GOD OF WRATH — for HE must punish unrepentant sin in HIS people. Nevertheless HE is much more the GOD OF MERCY. HIS prolonged judgment on HIS chosen people, Israel , is only for a tiny moment compared to HIS everlasting kindness toward redeemed Israel in the ages to come.

This theme occurs a number of times in HOLY SCRIPTURE: "For HIS anger endures but for a moment" David said, "when HE is pleased there is life; weeping may linger for the night, but at dawn there are shouts of joy." [Psalms (Tehillym) 30. 5 Tanakh, Kethuvim] To those faithful to the EMINENT ONE during a time of judgment against their nation or against the world, the ALMIGHTY says — "Go! MY people, enter your chambers, lock your door behind you; hide but a little moment, until the indignation passes." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 26. 20 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

A time for testing or a time for judgment may persistently continue for many days, months or even years. Comparatively, however, this is only a moment in relation to an eternity of the blessing to come.

The word "moment (Hebrew: rega)" plainly expresses sudden, instant, wink of the eye, quick. Applied explicitly to NEW COVENANT CHRISTians, it is said — "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory." [2 Corinthians 4. 17] "For behold! I am creating a new heaven and a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered, they shall never come to mind. In all MY Sacred Mount, the Holy Land , nothing evil or vile shall be done— says the LORD." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 65. 17, 25 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

Mercifully and lovingly the HOLY ONE OF ISRAEL allows trials to discipline, guide and develop us. This works to our advantage as impurities are being removed, leaving behind only that which is lasting, precious and pleasing. The goal of our lives is to bring praise, honor and glory to our LORD GOD and MESSIAH YESHUA. If troubles, sufferings, and grief can best achieve this supreme priority, so let it be. May the OMNIPOTENT GOD OF HEAVEN & EARTH give us eyes of faith to see these moments of affliction in the light of eternal glory with HIM.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May your ever-growing faith in the GREAT & LOVING HEAVENLY FATHER and CHRIST JESUS, HIS PRECIOUS SON, grant you the privilege to witness and experience the marvelous miracle of being delivered from the yoke of slavery to sin and its consequences.
Day 6 of Repentance.

Post  Admin on Thu 20 Aug 2015 - 20:37

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Learning is a path, not a destination.

LIFE & FAITH
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." [Hebrews 11. 1]

The Hebrew word for faith is "emuwn (pronounced ay-moon')" meaning truth, established, faithful, trusting or trustworthy. To the LORD MESSIAH YESHUA, the attribute of faith is of the highest importance for the realization of His PERFECT HUMANITY. YESHUA is the CHIEF WITNESS of faith — the LEADER of all the witnesses of faith, and the AUTHOR & FINISHER of our faith. YESHUA ha'MASHIACH fulfills, in detail, every one of the examples recorded in the Book of Hebrews!

What is a Life of Faith?
A Life Lived In Complete Dependence On GOD. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge HIM, and HE will direct (smooth) your paths." [Proverbs (Mishle) 3. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Kethuvim] It was said of and known about JESUS, the WORD MADE FLESH, "HE committed HIMSELF to the LORD." [Psalms (Tehillym) 22. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim] YESHUA said of HIMSELF — "I live because of the FATHER, so he who feeds on ME will live because of ME." [John 6. 57] It is recorded of the SON OF RIGHTEOUSNESS saying, "I will put MY trust in HIM (GOD THE FATHER) — Here am I and the children whom GOD has given ME." [Hebrews 2. 13] MESSIAH YESHUA said HE could do nothing of HIMSELF, HE depended completely on the FATHER. [John 5. 19] The LORD JESUS "was faithful to HIM (the FATHER) that appointed HIM (the SON)." [Hebrews 3. 2]

A Life Lived In Communion With GOD. In the words written by David concerning MESSIAH YESHUA, "I am ever mindful of the LORD'S PRESENCE; HE is at my right hand; I shall never be shaken. For YOU will not abandon ME to Sheol, or let YOUR FAITHFUL ONE see the Pit." [Psalms (Tehillym) 16. 8, 10 Tanakh, Kethuvim] "HE WHO sent ME is with ME. The FATHER has not left ME alone for I always do those things that please HIM." [John 8. 29 ] The LORD MESSIAH YESHUA lived in constant communion with GOD. [Mark 1. 35]

A Life Lived In Obedience To GOD. The LORD YESHUA proved HIS obedience in HIS humanity. "In the days of HIS flesh, when HE had offered up prayers and supplications, with vehement cries and tears to HIM WHO was able to save HIM from death, and was heard because of HIS GODly fear, though HE was a SON, yet HE learned obedience by the things which HE suffered." [Hebrews 5. 7 - 8] JESUS said, "I always do those things that please MY FATHER." [John 8. 29-c] "I have kept MY FATHER'S commandments and abide in HIS love." [John 15. 10] "MY meat is to do the will of HIM that sent ME, and finish HIS work. For I have come down from heaven, not to do MY OWN will, but the will of HIM WHO sent ME." [John 4. 34; 6. 38] "I come to do YOUR will, O GOD." [Hebrews 10. 7, 9; Mark 14. 36; Luke 22. 42]

A Life Lived In Assured Confidence In The Unseen Rapture. The HOLY ANOINTED REDEEMER knew there was joy awaiting HIM after death "for the joy that was set before HIM endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the Throne of GOD." [Hebrews 12. 2] The LORD JESUS believed that GOD THE FATHER would raise HIM from the dead. [Psalms/Tehillym 16. 10] HE also promised HIS disciples that HE would come again after HE had gone away. "In MY FATHER'S house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I WILL COME AGAIN AND RECEIVE YOU TO MYSELF; that where I am, there you may be also." [John 14. 2 - 3]

Furthermore, we who believe and fully trust JESUS THE MESSIAH, our BLESSED REDEEMER, live in assured, certain, secure confidence because of this promised hope. We know in WHOM we belief and are fully persuaded for HOLY ALMIGHTY ONE is faithful and true!

Sha’alu (Pray) for the shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Life's challenges work out for the best when we recognize what appear to be obstacles as opportunities to develop ourselves for the better and recognize that all things come from OMNIPOTENT GOD'S invisible hand that guides our lives.
Day 5 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
Never mind the remorse, don't commit the sin!

BOTTLED TEARS
"YOU (LORD GOD) keep count of my wanderings; put my tears into YOUR bottle; into YOUR record book." [Psalms (Tehillym) 56. 8 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

The Hebrew prophets mention professional mourners, who were called in at the time of sorrow to express mourning for the dead. "Send for the skilled women, let them come. Let them quickly start a wailing for us that our eyes may run with tears, our eyelids flow with water." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 17 - 18 Tanakh, Nevi'im] Tears flow freely and openly in the Oriental custom, a highly emotional peoples - at such times they are considered to be a definite means of bringing comfort to sorrowing hearts. [John 11. 33] It was not uncommon to see the tears being gathered and collected into bottles and kept as special remembrances.

The weeping woman, a sinner, who washed the feet of MESSIAH YESHUA with her tears and wiped them with the hair of her head, was none other than Miryam (Mary) the sister of Martha and Lazarus. The tears she wept and the precious bottled tears were used to wash the feet of her LORD, then she proceeded to kiss and anoint them with the fragrant oil from the alabaster flask. [Luke 7. 37 - 50] Though her sins were many, they were forgiven, for she loved much. Noticeably, the more one is forgiven, the more they are able to love!

Jeremiah, the weeping prophet, desired that his people would have a change of heart so they too could be forgiven, "Oh my suffering, my suffering! How I am pained and writhe! Oh, the walls of my heart! My heart moans within me, I cannot be silent; for disaster overtakes disaster." [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 4. 19-20 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "That is why I say — Let me be, I will weep bitterly; do not labor to comfort me because of the ruin of my poor people." [Isaiah (Yeshayah) 22. 4 Tanakh, Nevi'im] "Oh, that my head were water, my eyes a fountain of tears! Then would I weep day and night for the slain of my poor people!" [Jeremiah (Yirmeyah) 9. 1 Tanakh, Nevi'im]

"Draw near to GOD and HE will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the LORD, and HE will lift you up." [James 4. 8 - 10] The HOLY CREATOR GOD OF ISRAEL stores our tears and they are precious to HIM as we "delight to do HIS will and keep HIS Law in our heart." [Psalms/Tehillym 40. 8] Great and wondrous promises belong to those who seek for the TRUE & LIVING GOD in sincerity; and trust and obey.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel , O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
May your heart be filled with intuition and your words be filled with insight; songs of praise ever be upon your tongue and your vision be on a straight path before you. May your eyes shine with the light of holy words and your face reflect the brightness of the heavens; and, your lips ever speak wisdom and your fulfillment be in righteousness even as you ever yearn to hear the words of the HOLY ONE OF OLD.
Day 4 of Repentance.

A HEBREW SAGE MIGHT SAY. . .
The real and the spiritual are one, like body and soul in a living man. It is for the law to clear the path; it is for the soul to sense the spirit.

WHICH SHEBA
"The descendants of Ham (son of Noah): Cush, Mizraim, Put, and Canaan . The descendants of Cush : Seba, Havilah, Sabtah, Raamah, and Sabtecah. The descendants of Raamah: SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 10. 7 Tanakh, Torah] This list of Ham's genealogy shows his sons and their families.

"Abraham (a Semite, descendant of Shem) took another wife, named Keturah (after Sarah's death). She bore him Zimram and Jokshan. Jokshan begot SHEBA and DEDAN." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 1 - 2 Tanakh, Torah] "Abraham willed all that he owned to Isaac; but to Abraham's sons by concubines Abraham gave gifts while he was still living, and he sent them away from his son Isaac EASTWARD, to the land of the EAST." [Genesis (Bereshith) 25. 5 - 6 Tanakh, Torah] Consider the names, Sheba and Dedan — they are alike, but the people are separate as well as their ancestry. The nationalities are completely different. Hence, the locations of the homeland are either found in Ethiopia , descendants of Ham (which is south of Egypt , and SW of Jerusalem), or Arabia , descendants of Abraham.

When the Queen of Sheba came to visit Solomon and test his wisdom, she came from the South (Arabia) not from Africa . The LORD JESUS confirmed this location when HE was teaching and the Scribes and Pharisees demanded of HIM a sign. MESSIAH affirmed — "the queen of the south will rise up in the judgment with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ENDS OF THE EARTH to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and indeed a greater than Solomon is here." [Matthew 12. 42] South Arabia is at "the end of the earth (beyond that there is only water)" as it is a peninsula in the Arabian Sea (modern Oman & Yemen).

The " Sheba of Arabia" is an established region of land while the " Sheba of Ethiopia" is part of the Ethiopian people and not a separate geographical location.

Likewise, the exaggerated story that Solomon and the Queen of Sheba had a son together and that the son's descendents later took the Ark of the Covenant to Ethiopia simply is "a fable, a legend, a myth" giving favor to the wicked devil and his evil lies and deceits. HOLY SCRIPTURE records, "King Solomon, in turn, gave the Queen of Sheba everything she expressed a desire for, exceeding in return for what she had brought to the king. Then she and her courtiers left and returned to her own land." [2 Chronicles (Dibre Hayamin Bet) 9. 12 Tanakh, Kethuvim]

Many claim and accept an ethnic group of the Ethiopians to be of Jewish descent due to their religious practices. However, these "acquired customs" were adopted when the world-spread fame of Solomon caused peoples from all nations to seek Solomon's TRUE & LIVING GOD. As was in the case with Philip and the Ethiopian eunuch, "So he (Philip) arose and went. And behold, a man of Ethiopia , a eunuch of great authority under Candace the Queen of the Ethiopians, who had charge of all her treasury, and had come to Jerusalem to worship, was returning. And sitting in his chariot, he was reading Isaiah the prophet." [Acts 8. 27 - 28] Even long years after Solomon, the whole world knew about the MIGHTY GOD OF ISRAEL.

Instead of believing everything we hear, we should check out the HOLY SCRIPTURES for ourselves. Search GOD'S WRITTEN WORD, line-upon-line, compare the TRUE SCRIPTURES and history with the legendary accounts, which are but fables, and myths that you may be able to discern between TRUTH and lies. Many cults and isms have originated from these errors, so Beware! "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables." [2 Timothy 4. 3 - 4] Know in WHOM you believe, and live confident in HIS amazing truth.

Sha'alu (Pray) for the Shalom (Peace) of Jerusalem and all of Israel !
Redeem Israel, O ELOHIYM, out of all their troubles!
Exalted and hallowed be GOD'S greatness in this world HE created. May Your will be fulfilled and YOUR sovereignty revealed, MOST HOLY ONE, in the days of our lifetime and the life of the whole House of Israel speedily and in our time, Amen. May YOU be blessed forever, even throughout all eternity. May YOU, be blessed, praised & honored, extolled & glorified, adored & exalted above all else. Amen
Day 3 of Repentance.

Praying for the peace of Jerusalem , is praying for the return of our Messiah and Lord and for the Kingdom of God He is bringing when He comes. Then God's Will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven and the world will experience true godly universal peace which is the fruit of Righteousness.
