Many gather on a Saturday whatever date 5th of November fall on.
There are a few things needed to remember, this can be a scary time for animals so make sure they are indoors.
If a private in your garden read all the instructions and never return to a firework which have not gone off as expected...Be Safe have water and sand at hand and Enjoy.
Whatever your plan take all the necessary precautions and at best join a organized firework display.

"Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot..."

Guy Fawkes Night November 5th UK celebrated and in many other countries.

In 1605, thirteen young men planned to blow up
the Houses of Parliament. Among them was
Guy Fawkes, Britain's most notorious traitor.
Some facts
Guy Fawkes (13 April 1570 – 31 January 1606),
Fawkes was born and educated in York. His father died when Fawkes was eight years old, after which his mother married a recusant Catholic. Fawkes later converted to Catholicism and left for the continent, where he fought in the Eighty Years' War on the side of Catholic Spain against Protestant Dutch reformators. He travelled to Spain to seek support for a Catholic rebellion in England but was unsuccessful. He later met Thomas Wintour, with whom he returned to England.
Wintour introduced Fawkes to Robert Catesby, who planned to assassinate King JamesI and restore a Catholic monarch to the throne. The plotters secured the lease to an undercroft beneath the House of Lords, and Fawkes was placed in charge of the gunpowder they stockpiled there. The warning letter reached the King, and the King's forces made plans to stop the conspirators.
Prompted by the receipt of an anonymous letter, the authorities searched Westminster Palace during the early hours of 5 November, and found Fawkes guarding the explosives Guy Fawkes, who was in the cellar of the parliament with the 36 barrels of gunpowder when the authorities stormed it in the early hours of November 5th, . Over the next few days, he was questioned and tortured, and eventually he broke. Immediately before his execution on 31 January, Fawkes jumped from the scaffold where he was to be hanged and broke his neck, thus avoiding the agony of the drawing and quartering that followed.
Fawkes became synonymous with the Gunpowder Plot, which has been commemorated in England since 5 November 1605. His effigy is burned on a bonfire, often accompanied by a firework display.
Britons didn't take kindly to Mr. Fawkes back then in 1605 – King James was to have had him hung in Westminster's Old Palace Yard – and they don't think fondly of him today. Across the country, Britons gather around bonfires to burn Fawkes in effigy.
Enjoy and be safe.
